    Note that for checking positive or negative definite ist thing is that the matrix has to be symmetrical it is not valid for any n×n random matrix

      Matrix need not be symmetrical when we check it's definiteness, it's a random matrix.

    For negative definitie , principal minors are of alternative sign and the first principal minor must be negative sign.

    in 14:53 if we take A=[ai^2] of order one s.t. ai not equal to zero then 0 is not eigen value of A then how we can proceed for option c & d

      no you are wrong bro, for negative definite first minor always should be positive. on basis of matrix first minor greater than zero and next should alternate sign 😊

      Option B is incorrect option C is the only right answer because the eigens values are +1/2 and -1/2 so it is not positive definite
