I was privileged to see it on Broadway in 1965. The late Barbara Harris was enchanting. I have kept that production in my mind and heart forever. The film with Barbra Streisand was a mess. Yves Montand was no John Cullum!!Wonderful show.
Interesting, that is not the complete version of the song. For that you need the original cast recording from 1965. You won't be disappointed. Ms. Harris is marvelous.
Barbara Harris was hilarious, beautiful & had a voice for the angels. I would have loved to see this production.

This is from The Bell Telephone Hour's episode called The Lyrics Of Alan Jay Lerner, 1966. Thanks for posting.
RIP Barbara Harris
Would have preferred to have had her cast in the flick version, too.
I like Barbara Harris but no the other one was way better
Barbara Harris is no Barbra Streisand. But then again, Barbara Streisand is no Barbara Harris. Enchanting.
Should have added, XXX
She was delicious on stage. Sorry she gave it up, Incredible vulnerability!
