Mamas helping the new mamas. What a beautiful generational blessing. Family is everything.❤❤
My Mama cooked and brought me food every day for quite a while when my baby was new!❤❤❤
@@rita1259-y5cI’m jealous, my son and his wife are in the air force and live overseas. They are having twins in November and I’m missing the closeness you have.💔
Momma you still take care of your children, it's just in a different way now. You are a good momma, daughter ,wife, sister and mother in law! Your girls reflect that. They are beautiful too!
Thank you so much 😊
Tipper you look great! Thank you for taking us with you today! ❤️🍂🍂
Thank you 😊
Hey Tipper, thank you for taking us along. I didn't take you as a patchouli girl. I love that! I hope and pray that everyone would think before reacting, and to be kind and cordial to one another. 🙏
To be honest Tipper your love of Patchouli surprised me as well. Being a child of the 60's and 70's it's a scent I'm fond of too.😂
Pretty store, but I don't like the smell of patchouli! My daughter loves it though! Lol
What a blessing to have family around to help each other.
Tipper you’re so considerate picking up groceries for granny and Corie! I wish someone would have helped me once in a while back when my girls were babies! It makes such a difference in someone’s life. Bless you!
That sense of community and family helping one another is something society needs more of. It's always nice to see these slices of simple everyday life. It's a reminder that with all our differences in many ways people are the same all over.
To me, there's no greater gift when your day has ended, than to know that you were able to help your precious loved ones. ❤️🙏 That's where I find the most joy.
Matt was right to have you get a Four Runner. My son had wanted one for a long time and waited to get just the right one. Had it about three months and another driver cut him off and totaled it. He was fortunate to find another one very similar. There are people who have driven those things for 300,000 to 500,000 miles and they just don't quit. Helping family and neighbors is what life should be. Love y'all.
I think it’s wonderful you all help each other.🙏❤️💯
Praying a hedge of protection for your family and property ahead of the upcoming storm. No wind damage or flash flooding. Ty again for your content that’s makes me smile every time I watch. God Bless!
Thanks so much!!
Tipper, you are a true gem. The world needs more like you; kind and thoughtful. Thank you for sharing. I love your channel.
Wow, thank you 😊
You are a good Woman Tipper Pressley, you and your family have been helping each other all those years, you guys are a good example of great family that just jumps in no matter tha need that helps each other… WOW ! No wonder you guys are so close and Love each other, and y’all grow gardens and the men hunt. You guys don’t really need anything else , you have each other. I Really enjoy you and Matt , and those Girls are the reason I’m hooked on the Pressley’s and now Austin and those 2 Stamey creek boys. Good job ! Tipper
You are so kind! Thank you 😊
What a wonderful visit into a part of your day. Thank you for sharing Tipper. I can almost smell the scents in that beautiful shop.
It’s so nice and a blessing to have a mother’s help.
Tipper you are such a loving wife, Mom and daughter. Thank you for sharing. Have a good evening. 😊
Y'all are such a loving family. You show your love for each other in really involved & helpful ways. Such great examples of who we all should strive to be. How nice to maintain those friendships with your past co-workers. I not only miss my sweet husband, but all my friends who have all died now too. I have two friends remaining; & because of my poor health, it's difficult to get out & mingle to make new ones. Not that I'm miserable or anything, just aware of how precious those long-term relationships are. It's always such a joy to get to share your life through your videos. Thank you, Tipper. You're a dear.
Tipper your a wonderful mama and daughter your family is so blessed to have you loved going to town with you ❤️ Shelby
This was such fun, Tipper. Thanks for taking us along. A real slice of life! Love it.
I love these types of videos. It gives folks a realization of how things are in your life and where you live. I feel the same way you do, going to the grocery store, get home and feel in my safe place.
Thanks for sharing!
I stumbled upon your channel a month ago because I saw you had a video where you made soup beans, sauerkraut and lettuce with bacon grease. All my favorite food and Im from New England! Once I watched one video I couldn't stop watching them all! I just adore your style and tastes and couldn't be happier to have the privilege of getting to see how you and your lovely family live and thrive. What a blessing and may God continue to bless and keep you! And I love patchouli its so earthy and warm.
Me too
Thank you so much 😊
That was fun, Tipprt! I loved wandering thru Blue Moon with you. I could almost smell it! The best things in life are God, family, and friends. Happy belated birthday🎈🪱❣️
Three of my friends from church get together for birthdays and sometimes, just because. We love each other and are there for each others needs. I love them. ♥️
So typical of our area. Helping family is second nature. Glad you had a day doing things differently and enjoying yourself. Everyone needs some of those days.
family is very important that is so kind of you tipper helping the girls out
Love seeing the cool store listening to talk and nothing is more important than family God being a huge part of your family
I absolutely love patchouli and get the oil and candles. I also like tea tree. I would love to go to that store.
I hope you have a Wonderful time with your Friends today.😊❤🙏🏻
Me too
When my now 37 year old was little, my family was dispersed. My youngest brother lived, and still lives in California. My middle brother lived in a town north of where I lived. My mother lived on the same street, but my mother and I had a complicated relationship. My then husband and I raised our daughter by ourselves. Thanks for sharing your excellent family culture with us Tipper!
So nice they way you help the family. Its a mile and a half walk to the store for me. Keeps me in good shape.
What a fun trip Tipper! Thank you for taking us along. I really like the smell of patchouly also. A lot of people don’t. 😃 Glad that you got to catch up with your friends. It’s so important to go and have those fun times together. You’re such a wonderful Mama, daughter, wife and friend. We are blessed to know you through this page.
You are so kind-thank you 😊
Tipper, you say Massachusetts the same way my mom did, and it brought a tear to my eye. I've never heard anyone else say it that way. She passed away earlier this year 💔
I'm from central NC, and my mom's side of the family has been in this area for generations. No Appalachian blood that I know of, but the funny thing is, watching your videos is like being with my family, especially the older generations who have passed on. Your dialect is exactly what I grew up hearing. Fun fact: I first watched your channel in 2021, I was taking a class on dialects in the USA at ECU and my professor used some of your videos to illustrate the uniqueness of the Appalachian language. Now here it is 2024 and I stumbled across your channel again, and I've been binge-watching your videos (as well as Katie and Corie's) for the last few weeks. Just wanted to say keep doing what you're doing ❤
I’m so sorry you lost your sweet mother!! I’m glad we remind you of family 😊 And nice to know she said it like me. I get teased about that 😊
@CelebratingAppalachia I was born in Ohio, but lived much of my life in Massachusetts. Many of my family members, who lived at the edge of Appalachia, pronounced the state's name exactly as you do. Many of those folks are gone now. Your podcast brings back a lot of sweet little memories. Thank you.
@@barbaramonaco105 I'm so glad we make you think of those memories!!
Thank you Tipper for taking us shopping ❤. I love that soap shop and will go online to see what they have and order from them. Your area is so beautiful, like God's country right❤patsy
Hey Tipper. I so enjoyed your trip to town. Patchouli reminds me of being a teen in the 70s. I liked to burn incense in my bedroom and patchouli was one of my favorites. Growing up in Eastern NC we were very family oriented too. Mama used to go every where with me; the grocery store, family events like baby showers or weddings. As her health declined I would pick up whatever she needed in town. I sure do miss her and all the things she did for me. The first of September made a year she has been gone.
When my youngest child was born, & I went back to work, my mama and daddy took care of him for me. They grew a big garden and would pick and shell peas for me. They would have them washed and ready to cook when I would stop after work. Sometimes they would even cook them for me. Mama & I would do our canning and freezing together. Now I try to help my children with their families. I love living in a warm close knit family.
You are very blessed!😊
What a great video! Thank you for taking us to town witg you. Exactly, great traditions of the family being together and helping each other. Wonderful culture! Can't wait to get back! Have a great rest of the week.
God bless you, Tipper❤ Such a kind family 🎉 Thanks for taking us along😊
Tea Tree helps my migraine headaches.
You're a gem, Ms Tipper.🥰 God bless you for all you do. As we age we really do understand, tis better to give than receive. Oh, I love the smell of cinnamon. It's such a blessing to have longtime friends you can still get together with regularly. Wishing you a lovely week. 😊🧡🌻🍂
Tipper thank you for sharing everything.God bless you and your family.
I remember families being very close knit, when growing up in East Tennessee. I is such a relaxed, wholesome kind of life. I really do miss it.😢
I can relate to getting groceries for my parents. Several years ago, before my mom passed, I started grocery shopping for my parents. Now I shop for my Dad. I am able to work from home and moved my home office to my Dad's house. He is unable to get around on his own and needs someone with him during the day. My brother lives with him so he's there at night. They took care of me so I could in turn take care of them one day. That's what family is about. Take care and God bless!
That was a cute little store. I love the way you take care of your family. Dear friends are precious .
Thank you so much!
A day in the y’all’s life means a lot. I’m lucky enough to be retired and do the planning, shopping, cooking and
catch-alling for my wife at the peak of her career and my 17 year-old daughter at one of the first peak of many in her life.
I think most folks are just like you, Tipper. We live somewhere in between. ❤💛🧡
This video was so much fun! Thank you for sharing your day with us. ❤
You are so welcome!
I love these drives!you are so thoughtful in your family needs…I would love visiting the soap store..
Tipper, I thank you so much for filming as you drive. I can see the lay of the land and I enjoy going in the different stores. I traveled yearly from western ky to Jonesboro Tn for 20 yrs. National Storytelling. We also went over mountain to Boone n Banner Elk NC on this trip as we visited with old teller Ray Hicks and Rosa. We fell in love with the very first storytellers . Donald Davis who is from Haywood County is one of the last early ones. I am older but love the idea of visiting your area. I was amazed that I had not driven through your far western section of NC. Your posts let’s me wander back over those hills again. Thanks
Love that you shared a great day with us. And friends for lunch are a blessing.
Thanks for taking us along with you today, so much fun!! Such a beautiful store, wish we had ‘smellavision’!!
Y’all be careful with this hurricane headed towards your area. I remember Fran hitting Wake County in 96 & no power for 8 days, had a 3 week old baby & 3 yr old son. It was rough. Praying for y’all.
❤I really loved this video tipper! Thank you so much😊❤❤❤😊❤
You look beautiful today!!!
Thank you Debbie 😊
❤you always look beautiful even in the garden!!!😊❤❤

@@debbiehills2928 Oh thank you!!
Absolutely love this video! You are so right...FAMILY is so important. Many of my family have past on now and I only have a brother who doesn't live near me. But, I do have those wonderful memories of being close to family members while growing up. Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories!
I enjoy "slice of life" videos from other countries. I recently started following a woman in Russia and seeing the differences and similarities to US life is very interesting.
Hello from Southeast Texas! I grew up living about 100 yards from two sets of aunts and uncles, grandparents, and one great aunt and uncle. I wouldn't trade it for anything! I used to ride my bike or roller skate to their houses and had many sleepovers with my cousins! I love that you help the girls now that they are mommas. I live a couple miles from my mom, but when I had my kids she sure did help us a lot and get me groceries whenever I needed them. Our daughter is 20 and is about to graduate from college this spring and I am looking forward to the day I can help when she has kids. Our son too, of course. It is so nice to see other people value their families too.❤
Wonderful!
I love The Wonderful Grocery Pickup ❤❤
Tipper was good to see you out and about doing fun things, meeting your friends doing girlie things. I am so with u about groceries , hate doing it, don't like putting away and my friend Not like you I don't like to cook since my husband passed. Thanks for taking us along
Sending Hugs from East Coast
Enjoyed spending day with you.
“Always look for what you can do, do that and a little more”

Hey that was almost like driving in the south , one of our favorite segments from the girls channel 😃
😊
I LOVED this video today. You really make good use of your time and I think you're teaching me to be more organized. You really inspire me, and I thank you.
I think you're a great lady,by the way you help your family and friends.
Thank you 😊
Really enjoyed your shopping trip and the rest of your day. Thanks for taking me along!
Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕🌄🍂
I appreciate this video so much. Love your channel!
You’re a good mama and daughter Tipper you’re right grocery shopping is tiring and I don’t like to go but I have to. Love you all ♥️
This was a nice and fun different kind of your vlog. Thanks for always keeping your channel fresh and exciting.
Oh, what a great idea for a video! You most certainly are highlighting the family centric nature of your region, but you are also showcasing local small businesses/artists that can benefit from your own experiences and your audience. This was a lot of fun. I wonder if the guy who makes your mugs would be willing to let us have a small sneak peek?
Either way, great video, Tipper! Much love to you and yours from Texas! ❤❤❤
There's no place like home 🏡 💚
I love all your videos! Makes me feel like family . We all appreciate your work and taking us along on your life. God bless!
Thank you so much!
That is such a beautiful drive even with the fog. What a quaint little shop. I need to check them out than you for the heads up on that I love the lemon grass soaps. I just never could find a good one Oooh and I wanna try the cinnamon one. I’m so glad to see you spoiling (Tipper )with your gift card. 😊 you’re so kind to your family. I love that about your channel. We are blessed by your amazing content. ♥️🙏👍🇺🇸🇮🇱. Brooks, Oregon.
Tipper I loved this video i always loved the videos that Corie and Katie did on their channel when they went to the thrift stores or flea market or just driving showing the beautiful scenery. I understand why they cant do that right now but i do miss it. I also understand why you don't do videos like this you would rather be home working with matt and being with your family and that's wonderful also i love watching you both work side by side getting everything done. I love anything you decide to upload.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🙏🏼🕊️🙏🏼
Enjoyed your trips to town Tipper. So glad to see you out enjoying yourself. I admire you and your family so much. God bless you.
Thanks so much 😊
I love patchouli too ! Such a sublime earthy scent 😊

Not that far from Boston!
Thanks for sharing all that you do!
Murphy is a beautiful little town.
Hey Tipper, I was born and raised in Asheville, NC. I have lived in Upstate SC since 1978 but my husband and I visit your surrounding area on a regular basis. Love your channel.
Thank you 😊
Glad you had a good day and got some goodies and there is no place like home Thanks
Thanks for watching!
So much like a Montana Gal Pal day; enjoyable and familiar and helpful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for taking us to town with you. It is always good to help each other out. Isn’t it great to be able to do a grocery pick up with Walmart. I have groceries delivered quite a bit. Sure is handy. Thanks for a great video.
It’s interesting to see a bit of Murphy.. my grandma and sister lived there in fifties and sixties. I spent a few summers with her…big garden, milked cow and she churned butter, fresh fried chicken( go in yard, grab chicken and wring it’s neck🙃scared me as a child , never sassed granny😊oh and used the outhouse with Sears catalog as reading material!
Another sweet post . Imo,nothing beats Cories soap ❤
love seeing all the different places . keep posting .
So happy to see that you had a moment to enjoy doing something for yourself. 🥰
Thank you Tipper. Like you I love patchouli. Thank you for sharing Blue Moon,I had to have some soap and body spray.
So nice of you to pick up everyone's groceries! Going to town is always " a thing". I recall my husband going to town for supplies and needing something else for his repair or project and then he had to go back again.
Glad you will see your girlfriends! You need You time
Great video so much fun 😊
I love buying soaps like that store sells. Whenever we are in a shop like that I'm the one smelling all the soaps. I store my bars in the drawers with my sweaters and shirts until I'm ready to use them. They make my clothes smell wonderful.
Great tip!
We are like that too,Tipper. Sadly ,not all families help each other. It's a Blessing to have a close, caring family...isnt it? Toyota's are good vehicles. We had one once. They will run from now on. You take care.
I really enjoyed this video because it showcases your lovely views on every day life
❤Tipper Running Behind Past few Days..Still Trying to Recover after Some New Testing to Check Out Things. I Need Strength & Energy. ❤ I Am So Happy You are Able to Do ALL the Things You do to Help The Girls & Granny. Glad You got to Spend Time with Your Friends & Spend Your Gift Certificate on Things You Enjoy. It is Very Tiresome though 😊God Bless & Take Care ❤
I enjoyed this video. Different.
You and Matt are good parents and grandparents!!
God bless you all!!
I enjoyed your video. I would like to tell you I appreciate the time you take to share with us. Thank you Tipper
I appreciate that! Thank you 😊
The main reason I watch your vids is because I'm interested in other places. We appreciate the efforts you all go to to include us in all aspects of Appalachia. It is quite different to where we come from but the connection to family is the same.
Thankyou all once again.
I just feel like a long lost cousin that we haven't met in person yet! LOL!!❤
😊
I’m very envious of your way of life. I’m not far away over in Tennessee, but live in the valley. I’d love to move to the mountains!
