Becoming
In the midst
Of my heart’s
Solitude
You come
Meet me
And stay
My shield
Against the
Seasons’ high
Heat and cold
The same
Little by little
You cover me
I am blanketed
Perfectly in
Your care
The joy your
Affection brings
Keeps my heart
Continually in
Elation
I remain still
Happily
Accept
Surrender to
Your love’s
Ardor
Come
Shroud my
Entirety
In the fervor
Of your
Desire
I want no
Part of me
Left bare
Now ever so close
There is no
Separation of we
Our wonderful
Devoted
Allegiance
On full display
Beautifully
Our hearts
Join together
Combine until
Only we
As one
Remain
