Happy Monday! Today, we're taking a look at and reviewing the brand new 2024 Mosaic Football Mega Boxes. These come in with a price tag that makes me wonder is retail still an option if you want to rip wax? Let's discuss and rip some Aces! Enjoy!
I agree with your assessment of the price increase for retail. Allowing Flipping for double just made no sense if you were part of the making and distribution of these things. Companies are built to make money… love the breakdown as always
Fanatics has caught on to this better and sooner than Panini. Like most things, Panini follows in step. I remember predicting over a year ago, wax would start to go down. Boy was I wrong. 😐🤣
This hobby will be dramatically impacted given any economic downturn. It's gotten so expensive and the quality has been diluted in so many lines. These card companies are playing with fire and eventually they will get burned.
I ordered 6 and got them on Friday from Walmart. First box, 2nd pack pulled a Genesis of the rookie d-lineman from Seahawks (yeah I can't remember his name and I have the damn card)
Let’s just say my Mosaic megas were less than ideal. With these price increases, I’m quickly getting chase from the ripping anything but Optic and Prizm game…at least at the retail levels.
I’ve opened 7 blasters from the same Walmart pulled honeycomb Quincy Williams genesis Rome odunze auto tanner McKee all the other top qb green drake maye and Jayden Daniels
I think megas in general are becoming almost unbuyable at these prices. I opened three of each on the megas and had no case hits. I've always liked Mosaic in the past and had good luck but I think I may be done for the year let them rot. It's not just retail. My big purchase annually is a case of Bowman Draft baseball but the price is up like $600 from last year for a draft class that I don't find particularly exciting, so I passed on those too. Getting pushed back out of collecting.
Raising them. They've already been trending in that direction this year. I think they see what their product sells for on the secondary market, and they want a piece of that.
I think people need to stop buying them from either market and it will reduce the price eventually. The problem is, there are these people called content creators out there that will buy to show people what they can expect. 😜
Don't look at me, man. 😐 I did nothing...nothing! But yea I think they see what resellers are selling them for and see there's meat on that bone. Sucks for us.
in no world should mosaic or select retail be the same price as prizm or optic. '23 select will probably still be sitting by the time '24 select rolls out......in 2025.

@ well it does seem to dip at certain times of year and I always hope it sticks but never does lol
Lets go! Happy Holidays! Thanks for sharing the love of the hobby!!
It doesn't matter what other people says about mosaic.. I still love them😊😅😊.
We love what we love. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 😉

I got two megas coming soon. Looks like a lot of hits still to be hit. Lol.
Great breakdown as always.
Wanted to leave some for you, bud 🤣
Thanks for the video just so you know you put a Marvin Harrison Jr card In the pile with Justin Herbert notoriety. 😊 just thought I'd let yu know
I know. That was my base insert pile. He got a sleeve and is safe and sounds sleeping in a box. 😁
Beautiful
Thanks for the review
Thanks for watching 👍

That good huh 🤣
Thanks for the video!
Always!
Got to go find these
You do you, my man.
Cool video
Thanks for watching my friend
Mosaic blasters were decent to me. Haven't ripped megas yet
They've been decent to me too. I still think it's a terrible product 🙃

You said it about hitting mosaic.
Hi huxbux good morning how are you doing love card video
Hey Brian! I'm doing well. Looking forward to the week.

Sounds like you got every good box in that case
@ yeah lmao

It's really a shame. Opening boxes is supposed to be one part of the hobby. It's going the way of the doodoo for the average hobbyist.
What do you see Topps doing with prices when they take over the licenses?
Raising them. They've already been trending in that direction this year. I think they see what their product sells for on the secondary market, and they want a piece of that.
The Panini vs Topps exclusive rookies are frustrating
For sure. This isn't how it's supposed to be.
What up Hux
Hey, brotha! Squaked out a win yesterday I saw. Hope you had a good weekend.
Pretty good rip. Could of been worst.
Could have been better too. Either way it was fun. Thanks for watching!

daniels goes nuclear next day lol
I recorded it just prior to the games. Foot meet mouth 🤣
2:12 $35 Mega boxes?
Sometimes people make mistakes. Appreciate you pointing it out.
$3 for reactive blue nix is a slight exaggeration. stroud still selling for $17 and he's been bad
Did I have it at 3? Should have been 30. Whoops.
@huxbux you said it will be $3. I mean it's $30 now. it maybe $8 or $10 but unless he's dog poop it won't be $3
He’s been ok

And here we are. Select blasters have been sitting at my Walmart for weeks. Let them sit.
Well, at least you ended in the green. I haven’t been impressed with the mosaic so far.
I did but in 2 months that'll be a $80 thumping
