Watching this video reminds me of a few things. In 2017, one of the videos You said 5 years after data, job opportunities are high; now it has happened.
I agree with you bro, Recently all startups switching from cloud to on-prem, especially startups like zerodha, dukaan, ola, etc., even I hate cloud than working with on-prem
Bro as per my view, this is possible for unpriortised workload compute and this could cover the cost. There will be a decentralised distributed on demand compute by lending the general common people systems , that infrastructure will emulate like private encrypted environment for running distributed compute on lenders system. Lenders can allocate their system configuration in parallel to distributed computing and can perform their personal computing. The vendor who manages this could be aggregating the compute devices through online and share that with people who needs compute. The vendor would charge accordingly with their platform fees and people who can lend their compute powers would have various class of tariff bid, systematic genral fees. Consider this as a marketplace for general people lending to compute. More democratised. People who lends are paid back by either token or units at real time and upon withdrawal it would be converted to real currency.
Again own hardware. Capex and opex company side la vara vendamnu dhan bro cloud side porom. More over ennoda hardware a ennala shareware a vikka therinja dhan labam paka mudiyum if i own my own cloud. Is my view correct bro?
I appreciate your content especially in Tamil. But please clarify if the term modern on-perm includes DC in multiple locations to support DR . Also modern on-perm involves rack/DC presence in colo locations?
@dataengineeringvideos bro now I got a job opportunity as front end developer Iam looking for the opportunity in cloud or data engineer? Is it possible to switch after 1 year and how my experience in development helps to switch those fields.
disagree with u. going back to on prem will happend only to a restrict small percentage . not eveyone will switch back. it wont happend. may be cloud will evolve to more cost saving one thats possible. but not going back
Nope , I was very clear in that video , it's not typical classic on prem , it's like building cloud as a service and things are already started , let's wait and watch
Hello bro, really appreciate for this video seems like an eye opener. Will be helpful if we continue this series related to modern on-prem going forward. Now I’m working in a poc where we were again going back to on-prem so I can co relate it. Please upload some video on this same topics❤ love from Bengaluru
