please, do not apologize about not having a craft room.. a lot of us do not, I am set up in the dining area of the home we are renting right now... my computer on one side, and my table and the new organizer/hutch I made from your video to my left... and I work on my crafts right there... Makes it feel more homey to watch your videos that know your family is right there too
Kelly your absolutely a inspiration to me. Your a strong loving woman. I pray for you and your family. I watch every video and I am amazed. Hope you and family have a very Merry Christmas and a New Year.
Really cute pinecone . I always wondered how they were made so thanks to you I now can make some. Thank you for sharing and until next time God bless you
Kelly... u r such a creative gal! Always love watching ur videos. My Mom made seat covers for old round seated chairs. She always ironed hers, but I noticed u didn't. I will have to try one Mom's way & one ur way & see what the difference in looks will me. Hang in there! Take care & continue to keep safe!
I think these are the best pine cones I have seen on RUclips. If we lived in a perfect world, we would all have craft/sewing room filled with everything we would need, just leave a list and the next day it’s all replaced or your list is filled. 😀😀😀
I have been making a similar ornaments for about 35 years now. Everyone calls them pinecones. I'll admit they are pinecone shaped. But, I call mine Victorian Christmas ornaments. I've always made mine with Christmas or solid color ribbon (about 3/4" wide cut in lengths and fold into a triangle). Then, I decorate the tops as desired with parts of picks, etc., and a narrow satin ribbon to hang it with. I sold mine for years in craft shows as well as giving them as gifts to friends and co-workers. I like your version as well.
Love, love, love all your videos, Kelly. The quilted ornament and the pine cone ones are fabulous. Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects with us and the love you have for your family shines through overwhelmingly.
I made some of those years ago but with Christmas ribbon. They came out really cute easy to make but on the top I would put greenery and flowers I think it was about 20 or more years ago it was a long time ago
🤗💕🤗Thank You Sweet Lady! Those are so cute. I know I have done similar to these but with the round styrofoam. Can’t wait to see your next video with your own creation. And don’t apologize for the noise, I don’t mind at all, just a normal household as far as I’m concerned. TYFS again and look forward to more videos.🤗💕🤗💕🤗
I don't know why I never saw this video but I'm sure glad I happened upon it. Thank you Kelly these are totally being made by me for my tree this year.
Thank you for this ornament. I I have been making them with bunches of different patterns of material. The tip of yours is different than other videos. I really like yours best. So much easier to start of. Also I love yours just using one type or pattern. Thanks again for a great video 😊👍👍👍👍
I'm going to make these for Christmas this year. I made these when I was young but forgot about them. Thank you for sharing this so I remember how to make them. You're the best!
As usual I love it! I made one of these using folded ribbon & the tiny straight pins probably 30 years ago or more. It turned out really cute. It was smaller than your’s and took me forever. I only made one. Yours looks easier so I might make some of them. Love you sweet girl. You make it all look easy.
I just found your channel today and am enjoying some bing watching 😋 love this pine cone!!! And girl that is one well used glue gun you have there...lol Thanks for sharing your life and being real!
LOVED loved LOVED this cute idea! Thanks 4 sharing - I am now going 2 start this tradition of a small homemade ornament 4 my grand babies 💕🎄💕 Happy Holidays
My Walmart does not carry the foam egg so looking online and seeing there are different sizes of them Can you please tell me what size foam egg you used?
Can I be on your gift list no gift just the ornament ! My Mom used to give us her handmade ornaments I treasure, them ! could you use a stapler? or maybe a mini stapler? I am going to try this !
I just love this pine cone! Kelly, can you tell me how much fabric you buy when making these ornaments? I am thinking maybe making a couple of one fabric and a couple of another fabric. Thank you sooo much!!! xo
I wish I could tell you how much exactly I used, I buy Christmas fabric every year from Walmart because they come out with a new line every year and I usually buy a yard or two of each for all my Christmas DIY's for the year! if I had to guess i'd say less then a quarter of a yard for 2 pinecones.
After all the time I have watched you I haven't seen this. So glad I found it tonight!.
So happy to find this video. I could not remember how to finish the top part.
I love this craft and can't wait to get the eggs to make them. God bless you and your family, you are all in our prayers..
These are so adorable. Such a wonderful idea to attach to gifts. ❤
I've just started making these and yours are the easiest to follow, thankyou 😘
Those egg ornaments are so pretty. Not sure I have the patience. But great ideas. Love all your ornaments.

My tip would be is to dip the pins in Elmer’s glue before pinning the fabric
I did a LOT of these using ribbon years ago. I love this with the fabric. Gonna make some of these for a craft show next year. Great “chair” project!
Love, love, love all your videos, Kelly. The quilted ornament and the pine cone ones are fabulous. Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects with us and the love you have for your family shines through overwhelmingly.
