really looking forward for this as my first kit to build, is it very hard? does it need like, really expensive tools and that stuff? Im still wanting to build it even if those questions are positive hahaha but yeah, gonna take me more time than expected, thanks for the review.
I haven’t started building it yet. Just a couple pieces so far. Hasegawa makes great kits and these new kits look amazing! The details and moldings are some of the best I’ve ever seen. I’m actually combining parts from each kit to make my dream MR2. Outside of basic glue and painting, there shouldn’t be much problem with this. I use basic tools (nail clipper as sprue cutters and sanding twigs) and I get excellent results. If you’re not familiar with painting, I’d get another kit or two to build first, and experiment with spray cans and/or airbrushes first. Always remember to wash the parts thoroughly, and use a primer paint and just focus- it should be a great build! Thank you for watching! I’ll have a build of this hopefully later this year!
@@thatrandommodel thanks for the tips man you're great, hope you make a video showing the kit cause its amazing and I really want to see what you got after mixing both! The details are amazing I agree, Hasegawa makes very beautiful works and whenever I see the aw11 pictures they have my good, its whonderful!!! I can't wait to build it, really thanks!
This one will be a shocker for my channel- a completely bone stock showroom model that I first saw as a young kid when it first was released. I remember it was the clear metallic blue and I’m pretty sure (or at least I’m building it this way) with t-tops and the matching blue patched seats too! You can find many pictures of what that should look like. For the early car, use the green boxed car and the roof is from the white. I’ll make a custom version of the second kit in the Sherwood Green two tone as that is a combo found on the early and later models but with a little anime twist. Thank you SO MUCH for watching! I love making these videos and I appreciate any feedback!!!
