Hello Craig great video, i was thinking about replacing this part on my car because i have error message on display panell "water presence in diesel fuel filter" i tried to clean the "probe" "seonsor" or whatever is causing problem or just "wrong error". So what do you think i could do ? thanks in advance
Is it possible to just change the paper filter that's within the housing? I've got the same fuel filter on my expert van and was looking to see how to change the filter .
David keel no fuel will come out of the 3 pipes the the fuel system is pressurised when the engine is running so wont be a problem when changing the houseing hope this helps
Hi Craig I have a problem with leaking housing and i changed it put in a new housing and filter and its still leaking.., any suggestions? Also my gas pedal is really hard but i don't think that has anything to do with leaking.. Thanks
Follow the fuel leak back until see it get to a dry area when it turns dry tje leak has to be in that area because where ever the leak is it will only go down

why did not you replace just the filter cartridge is inside the housing and open and clean the interior of the housing ?

Yes it is, you just open it, change the cartridge, clean the interior of the housing and close it back ! It is cheaper.

I'm about to change mine on 2.2hdi, I ordered a housing and filter, was the filter pre installed and tightened properly for you?

car is very sluggish in 2/3gear.changed fuel filter.any idears.

If I did this, wouldn't some fuel be coming out from the 3 pipes you took off ?? I've never done anything like this to my car
David Keel start the car and remove fuel pump relay while on. Engine would turn off without any fuel in the lines and that should do

Dommage que c'est pas préciser avant de démonter qu'il fallait changer le corp en entier, du coup je remonte avec le vieux filtre, grrrrr
