Awesome. I really want these, but can’t spend the money in the holiday season. I might ask for them for Christmas, but I don’t think my family would understand the price for the records. Oh well, I’ll have it eventually.
I'm listening to a an OG UK pressing of Love Songs and forgot how well mastered and cut this collection is. It looks like the colour vinyl Red/Blue sets are sold out and most retailers never got them, just the black vinyl sets. Yes, I noticed Joe's Love Songs promo to his right, great collection.
I was kind of hoping the album sleeve would be a tri-fold like the CD release. I get the feeling the 3rd LP was a last minute decision, so it was just stuck in with the 2nd LP. I like that on the CDs the added songs are in their correct chronological order, where as with the vinyl they’re just all on the 3rd LP. As a bit of trivia, both albums were released on red and blue vinyl way back in 1978, but on the Capitol label, not Apple
I thought about getting this 6 LP colored vinyl slipcase set. But, I thought the price was too high, and I didn't like the way the bonus tracks are on a separate LP, and in the case of the "Blue" album, not even in chronological order. I think the two 2 CD sets work much better, having all of the songs in chronological order.

Thanks for showing the details on the Vinyl set. It looks really good. I will be buying the CDS but it was good to see the LPs. The blue and red vinyl is supposed to make it special. The gatefolds look sturdy. They better give you something for the money being spent. This set is a greatest hits package that will introduce new fans to the Beatles. If you don’t want to buy all the albums this is a good compilation to have. 😊

The vinyl is gorgeous, but I don’t have the space for a record player. I usually stream and/or use my CDs. Drive My Car especially on headphones sounds amazing.
That might be hard to find. Not sure about USA but here in uk it sold out in under two hours and is now selling for double the price on the auction sites.
Congratulations to the new Beatles Single release at Number 7 ! Remember, our generation is in the minority. The Millenials are the majority of people around the world now over 7 billion people In the Sixties we only had 3.2 billion people and we had no Global streaming of songs. Most of us had to buy a record by going to a record store or other outlet. The whole culture has also changed dramatically. From what I can see, # 7 in the USA and #1 in the UK is startling great ! And it won't last as long either, because now we have way more acts in music than in the 1960's. Take care and thanks for being as upbeat with our music Today, while we have it.

The Red & Blue coloured vinyls look terrific. I especially like the blue vinyl. I’m curious to know if the latest releases in US & Canada have been manufactured in Germany? In the UK all my latest Beatles goodies including Red & Blue CD boxset, cassette single & clear vinyl 7” all had stickers attached to the shrink wrap “Made In Germany”. Here in UK the last Beatles vinyl release manufactured in UK was the 1 album. Most vinyl now on sale here in UK is manufactured in Germany and Czechia. Just wondering if Capitol etc still manufacture product in North America.
The Beatles stealing more thunder from The Rolling Stones and I even contributed to it.. I bought the CD versions. I don't have any records or record player like I use to back in the day. They look awesome MyMayo. I saw Mazzi do an unboxing review ealier. Pretty detailed. He made notes. Pretty much enjoys them with a few exceptions. The track order is different than the CD version. It seems to bother some people. If you copy the record or the CD version to computer then you can put it in your desired order. I know some people won't bother doing that. I'm just saying. I think the Pictures on the sleve are unclear, washie. Not so clear as the old 73' Albums. That could be done better. But so what. The Sound of the most tracks blow me away. I find it fantastic.😮
I'm curious about the liner notes on each album's insert. Were there any direct comments by Paul or by Giles Martin, or are these anonymous short articles about the collection? I am hoping that the Red album is a prelude to some re-mixings of the pre-Revolver albums. Hopefully, we will see a Rubber Soul box set in the next year or so.
This is a really cool set in my opinion. I wanted to get the colored vinyl as well but then it sold out. I see now it's back in stock so I hope I am able to get it once I have saved up enough dough for it. There is one think I don't like about this new vinyl version and that is what seems to be almost an afterthought with the third disc. Just throwing all the extra tracks on that record rather than taking the time to mix them in chronologically like the CD version does. Other than that I am enjoying the new mixes and hope to add the vinyl to my collection soon.
Yes on the vinyl editions the track listing on the first two discs matches the original 1973 release with the additional tracks placed on disc 3. The CD versions (2 discs) integrates the additional tracks in chronological order.
When I ordered mine, DAY 1, they were alreadySold Out of this box set, so I ordered the two colored vinyl albums individually. I sent an email (Universal Music who distributes for The Beatles online store's customer service sucks and only comminicates via email) asking if this colored box set would be restocked. I received no reponse but the next email I received no longer showed this colored box set sold out. So, I ordered it too. Supposedly it too is on the way. One thing I noticed on yours is the individual albums aren't shrimk wrapped and therefore don't have Red and Blue Vinyl hype stickers like the individual ones I just received. Mine also features a "Made In Germany" stickers on the backs of each cover, as did the "Now and Then" 12" vinyl I received. Do yours have a "Made In Germany" sticker on them? I think I'll leave the individuals sealed and open the box set instead.

My set arrived a day late but the red and blue vinyl is georgous! I noticed that she loves you seems to have distortion and the vocals are set back in rhe mix did you fing that?
The whole idea between the Red and Blue compilations is that they go in chronological order. So, I would just like to know why they broke that in the vinyl edition, whereas it is correctly arranged on the CD. These are new mixes! This would be the perfect opportunity for a decent reissue, properly reordering the tracks, honoring the original intention of a chronological layout. They ruined the whole experience. As it is, it looks like they just want our money. I'm chossing to CD this time. So disappointing 😢…
I can't believe Universal didn't have time to plan for a proper vinyl edition to be released. As I understand it, they take advantage of the fact that the average Beatlemaniac will buy anything. But the truth is: these triple albums are poor editions. They didn't even bother to create new artwork, as was done for example with 'Live At The Hollywood Bowl / Eight Days a Week'. Unfortunately Universal just wants our money...@@MeanMrMayo
First of all, great video and Beautiful albums..the colored vinyl are really nice! How do they sound though? Are they superior to the 2014 vinyl albums? I own the 2014 editions on vinyl and those are great..but do they pale in contrast to the 2023 editions? Just curious..love to get me a copy someday
