You will have (I do numerous times a day) people come to you looking for parts, asking for inventory checks, asking when a part will arrive to fulfill a work order, asking where a part is, reports of vendor mistakes, etc. Its a very involved job that requires you to improvise and problem solve consistently. You are the gatekeeper of inventory. The rest of the team comes to you for info on said inventory. The entire stock of the company lies on you.
