I first encounterd Sheffield singer songwriter and guitarist Richard Hawley when he joined Pulp's live band back in 1996. It was his third solo album "Coles Corner" which drew me in to his wonderful song catalogue. So I wanted to pay tribute by performing a song from that album. It is named after a street in Sheffield where there used to be the Cole Brothers department store, but is still named after it as a meeting spot for people.
