I see what you mean about the comparisons to Marilyn Manson, but while she is probably regarded as the empress of dark pop music, prepare to have your mind blown at her versatility, that just when you think you have her figured out, Lady Gaga becomes something entirely different that you ever imagined her to be but somehow pulls it off perfectly every time. That's kind of the ethos of her artistry, endlessly transformative and never letting her audience get too comfortable. The amount of genres and art forms she has conquered is quite extraordinary and something that you very rarely see in other artists.

Seeing Pinhead in your back made me remember the chuch scene when he melts a crucifix as Lady Gaga was swallowing that rosary looking at the sky with dead eyes!

I'd watch her superbowl live performance, as her live performances are honestly the best and she makes each one original shes a big proponent of NEVER lipsyncing.
she also did the ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK of the new "A star is born" starring her as the main character (which in the past was played by Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand) and she got every award in the book for that movie...
I'm a big time fan though. All of her albums are very good. She is just such a high level of famous some songs are more well known than others.
