Oh my goodness! I’ve been in this for about 3 months. The 1st video I saw was a blowout done by Kanella Ciraco on FB. It blew my mind. I never knew anything like these techniques existed and I’m still blown away at how many I’ve seen. I’m watching your video 91 now and will look up your mentor. I just love this acrylic painting! Thank you for sharing!
I'm 49 and have cptsd. After watching you for about 15 min I realized how therapeutic fluid art has been for me. I've watched many different videos and will say you are a new favorite. I'm grateful for your honesty and will continue to check out your beautiful work.
Hi from Australia. Have just enrolled in a course to become a art therapist, may never use it for employment but thought it might help myself and later thought I might do some volunteer art therapy
It definitely does that it lets you forget about your troubles and put your mind on your art… I think that’s why a lot of people that is add, adhd etc. can relate to art… That’s my thing so I know it’s very therapeutic to help with other things in life❤
What a beautiful bloom, I love the colours. I'm from Sydney Australia and have only recently found art to be my saviour. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Your work is absolutely stunning. I am so glad you are talking more. We feel like we are getting to know you. I started doing fluid art as therapy myself. It makes you feel calm and happy to create something beautiful.
Rinske Douna is also one of my favorite and so is Olga Soby and Mollys Artistry. They were the first artists I learned from when I started my jorney in december 2020. This piece is gorgeous. I´m from Sweden.
Ellsworth, Maine. The Algonquin was a wonderful place to stay. But, that was many years ago! I am looking forward to learning about this art form to deal with my anxiety and on-going disabilities. Thanks for being here!
Oh my goodness, welcome!! I travel to Ellsworth often, though not as much in the summer as the traffic from Bangor is a tiny bit busy lol! :) So glad you're here. Thank you!
@@LilKArtistry It makes it verrry intereshting when there are only four roads converging in Ellsworth to get to Mt. Desert and Acadia National Park! That four way traffic light is right down the street so I must navigate it to go anywhere! I loved your bloom and shall be binging to catch up!
You’re adorable. I’m glad you’re telling about the paints and everything. It’s really good to hear. I’m proud of you. You are just an awesome person and your artwork is extremely beautiful. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful evening.
Art is therapy for me as well. I've been thinking about using what I've been through and learned to help other individuals that have brain injuries. But lovely painting. . I'm from Maryland.
Great video and painting. I love that you're having fun and laughting along the way. Do you dampen down the back of your canvas and paint with gesso at the same time or wait till it dries ? Following from Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺 😀
@todd8634 Hi! Thank you and welcome! So glad you found my little channel. And yes, I wet the back of the canvas and paint with gesso then let it dry completely before I paint on the front. Tightens up the canvas nicely. ☺️
My God! Your artwork is stunning. I think you shouldn't worry too much about the "imperfections". The purpose of art therapy is exactly to make us relax. Most people prefer those imperfections because it's what makes something "unique". Love it! 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️ Hugs from UK.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and all the helpful tips. I knew about spraying the back of the canvas with water but not using gesso, very good to know. Like you I never knew how to pronounce gesso 🤔so I just now googled it and found you pronounce it like the name Jess not like the word guess😊 Also, you live in my favorite state, Maine is so beautiful. I have cousins that live near Damariscotta and when I visit I never want to leave. Thank you again, you are an inspiration and a lovely person and I am so glad that art has helped you overcome the trauma you experienced. I have found animals, nature and art bring peace and comfort into our lives. I look forward to all your future videos. Take care❤
You are awesome, how you became a terrific artist, and you really are good as an artist, that flower came out BEAUTIFUL…keep on doing those paintings… 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
