Thank you for your ministry. If you needed encouragement. This is it. Thank you for putting out such great content. Your channel will continue to flourish and grow in no time, with God’s blessing. Much love from Florida.
+Nikki C Thank you so much. I definitely needed that!!! Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't make certain videos because I'm young or still struggle with things but this is definitely what I needed. Thank you so much again!!!
Praying is just simply talking to God , it can be written , spoken out loud, silent etc. Prayer is our intimate relationship with God. Thank you for sharing your process ot has been a blessing to me and my womens group. GOD BLESS
I stumbled on you recently and am glad I did. I enjoy your videos and your journaling episodes. Keep on with the good work. Blessings on your ministry. 💞👑💎
I color code in my devotional Bible - yellow or orange for favorite scriptures; blue for warnings; pink for commands; and green for promises. I use whatever color I want in my study Bible, kind of like you do. I like Amy Hale's color code too. I underline the connecting words to make them standout. I wish I could use Good Morning Girls, but I can't reconcile them using the color brown for the devil. I think someone should have thought that through better for brown-skinned folks. I tried to use it, but I couldn't get past that.
Great video. Battlefield of the Mind was a life-changing book for me. I don't have an amplified Bible so I want that one. I love She Reads Truth, but I've gotten to the point where I need larger font so I probably won't get it. The CSB is a nice version for reading the Old Testament. It reads like a story which is cool for reading. I do NOT need another Bible though so I'm not buying another one anytime soon. I have a lot of Bibles. At least 15 or so. :) My favorite for many years was the NIV. The Holy Spirit led me to it more than 20 years ago and it was a blessing, but in this season of my life I'm using the ESV more and NJKV. I also study with the KJV, but like you, it's not my favorite version for reading, only study. I grew up with it and never read it. I wonder sometimes what my life might have been like if I'd had a Bible I wanted to read and one I understood. All I had was church and that wasn't enough to draw me to the closeness I needed with God as a teenager and young woman. I've always told people to begin with the Book of John for reading the scripture. I'm glad other people tell new believers that same thing. That book is our lifeblood.
+Rhonda McKnight I can't wait to read Battlefield of the Mind and Mind Connection, I know they will bless me. I'm so intrigued by the Amplified Bible because it really intensifies the scripture. Yes the She Reads Truth looks awesome, but I already have an HCSB bible so I keep debating on it lol. I tried the NIV but can't get into it, I like the NLT though. Yes ESV and NKJV are my favs at the moment! Yes I feel if I had a NKJV or ESV I would have been further in my walk, but I'm thankful for my walk now and desire to read the Bible. Yessss, the Gospel of John is out of this world! I recommend every single time!!!
I have both of the Joyce Meyer bibles. I primarily read from the Everyday Bible. If you don't have her book Battlefield of the Mind, you might not want to get the bible that goes with it.
+Dagoodnurse I own the updated version she released of Battlefield of the Mind, but I'll probably just get the Everyday Life bible instead. Thanks for that, helped a lot 😄
I choose to journal by writing too. That's because I'm a writer I have zero artistic ability. I can't even draw a straight line. :) My oldest son is the same way, but my little one draws everything. Even when he does math at school, he draws little pictures. He's a right-brained person so I think illustrations come naturally to him. I could definitely see him being someone who does art journalling in a Bible one day. God made him creative that way. I admire art in Bibles. I know we all learn and retain information differently. That kind of expression is not my area of gifting, but I think it's beautiful.
+Rhonda McKnight yesss writing prayers is so amazing. I love looking at the art in Bibles. So beautiful and really brings a verse into perspective when you see it drawn out. And you're little one sounds adorable!!!!!
I love Priscilla Shirer, Desiring God/John Piper, John Macarthur, Preston Perry and Jackie Hill Perry, The Beat by Allen Parr, and Elevation Church, Vous Church, Good Apps FighterVerse, GotQuestion.org, and LoveWorthFinding
OMG awesome list!!! I just found Elevation Church, I'll be watching one of the sermons tomorrow and I love Priscilla!!! I will definitely check out these other ones! Thank you !
Hello. I don't know when I ever said that I did dabble in astrology or horoscopes. Lol. It's a hat that my son's father made. He made one for himself (he's a Scorpio) and our son (an Aquarius). I'm not sure how wearing that hat means I dabble in astrology or horoscopes. Unless I misunderstood your meaning.

+Rhonda McKnight lol I try to substitute the brown for silver or gray when I can. My personal color code is similar to yours.

StylesByNikki did you know that those signs are part of the new age
Christians are not suppose to dabble in astrology and horoscopes. Such as your hat.
