@@derkommentator9999 Es bleibt die Frage ob man Leute zu den Wettbewerben schickt die schon viel Erfahrung haben oder ob man Leute dahin schickt die zwar gut sind aber noch nie unter richtig Druck arbeiten mußten.
Klar haben die Soldaten im Ernstfall mehr Druck, es leibt die Frage: Wen hat man geschickt?

@@alcapone9550 ... als ein dritter Platz bei einer solchen Herrausforderung durch die Wettbewerbsbedingungen und die Konkurrenz allein.
greetings from germany, i am not a sniper but as i know the "cold shot" is so hard because you have no reference if u are to far left, right, above or underneath your declared target, so the spotter cant give you the advice to go more right or so. thats why it is so hard to hit with the first shot. but maybe someone can give a better explanation, because i am not a professional at this :)

No, there's another reason.
You talk about a cold shot, when the gun barrel is cold, And that's why the first shot has a lot of friction.
The bullet does not fly far and accurately.

In a real combat i would say that Ukraine has actually the best snipers in the world if we also look at the "fighting" expirience.

@@kamakita8698 Meine Fresse! Wie blöd muss man sein um so eine Frage zu stellen ? Unsere Soldaten sind Werkzeuge unserer Demokratie und verteidigen im Notfall unser Land!
Aber sie sind auftragsgebunden! Ihre Einsätze werden von der jeweiligen Regierung entschieden.
Afghanistan zum Beispiel war eine politische Entscheidung,die 59 junge deutsche Soldaten das Leben kostete!
Es war keine militärische Niederlage unsere Jungs und auch nicht der amerikanischen Verbündeten die aus Afghanistan abzogen! Für die Verluste und den Rückzug waren die
Politiker veranrwortlich!
Mir kann keiner erzählen,dass man unter vollem militärischen Einsatz,diesen Primaten Taliban nicht hätte Herr werden können!
Aber diese Entscheidung lag nicht in der Gewalt der deutschen Soldaten!

A cold shot is shot from a cold barrel where no shot has been fired before. This is extremely difficult because there is a slight offset to the follow up shots. Usually it is 1-2cm at 100m and this is what you have to take into account. This could mean multiple cm over a couple of hundred meters. Temperature plays a key role here (ammunition and barrel but also environmental effects). Usually the training skill is evaluated within the German army with this method. There are other ones of course. A precision evaluation can be measured with a series of 5. One cold shot + 4 follow up shots from a warm barrel. By the way, in order to qualify for international competition a sniper level test can conducted depending on the unit. Pretty cool concentration intensive and demanding as well. You can assume that the German participants had to go through it before the competition.

And I`m very disappointed about some German politicians......because they nearly killed the german army in many years before. Ich gehe mal davon aus, daß Sie kein Soldat waren oder sind....und wie Ich schon geschrieben habe... bei dieser politischen Lage ist es nicht ratsam Soldat zu sein oder zu werden....aber wenn jeder so denkt, machen wir mit Polizei und Rettungsdienst weiter. Alles zu verdanken einer verfehlten Politik des Abrüstens in jeder Beziehung. Wer diese Dienste verrichtet ist nicht zu beneiden....Ich war Soldat und wußte warum. Was haben Sie geleistet?
Weil man in Deutschland als Soldat eben als legitimierter Mörder gilt. Während meiner Dienstzeit war ich für einen Monat in den USA. Ich habe an jedem einzelnen dieser Tage mehr Respekt seitens der Zivilbevölkerung erhalten (selbst mir als ausländischem Soldaten gegenüber), als in 9 Jahren Dienstzeit in Deutschland.
Respekt an alle die gedient haben!

10:24 cold shot means, first shot counts. Usually you give a test shot to estimate the distance wind and whatever better. But here everyone only got one shot.
Respekt aus dem stand ohne Anschlag und dann genau die mitte zu treffen ist nicht einfach !!!

Greetings from Bavaria. The only way I am connected to the military is because my husband is an Ex-NCO of the Bundeswehr and also that our local gun club (as a Bavarian living in the country side you are obliged to be member of a gun club) is cooperating with German police and NATO military a lot.
I myself shoot the old family .22 twice a month for a couple of rounds inside the hall at up to 50 meters. But on open days we can try out other rifles even on the military shooting range around the next town. The interesting thing, hitting if given good commands is not THAT hard. 400 meters are quite doable, it took me two shots. Then here is the insane thing, there were two Sergeants next to me, one German, one US. They did some math and gave me permission to shoot at an 800m target. Adjusting the Scope several times to their commands, I relaxed, controlled my breath... out of three bullets I hit twice. I was like "wtf, did I do that?" - And no, that wasn't "my" doing. It was the doing of the two professionals next to me doing the math. I was just the one squeezing the trigger.
And now imagine you had to run for 60 minutes and then do the same. That is next level.
Cold shot = first shot with a cold (unused) rifle with cold gun barrel. Makes a huge difference up to tanks.
For those interested, the G21 and G28 are versions of the AWM-F and HK417 respectively.
All snipers from the Rest of the World use normal calculations to shoot, but the germans use excel for the calculation.
The German GSG 9 probably has some of the best they are a bad ass assault group.

@@KradoLP Yes I know but they CAN have paramilitary functions in Germany also in other countries but require the permission the federal govt. and of the other countries to be able to do that .

Even during the creation US Army's Delta Force the GSG9 were consulted for their help as well

(Hint, in German people rarely distinguish between Marksman and Sniper, so feel free to interpret it also as "is a Sniper").

this whole reaction video treats it's source material as if it would've claimed that german snipers would be the best in the world, but in reality it was just a german upload about the "best sniper competition" in which germany ranked 3rd place.

Oh, the german Schützenbund is the fifth biggest sports association in Germany. Shooting is a relatively big thing, just not as public as some other sports.

Die meisten Schießanlagen in Deutschland sind gar nicht so groß. Wenige Jahre zuvor wurde aber jeder Grundwehrdienstleistende hier darauf geschult auf 300 Meter zu treffen mit dem Gewehr G3 mit .308 Winchester Munition ohne Optik. Und zumindest in meiner Kompanie wurden die Visiere nie wirklich eingestellt. Wir mussten immer etwas daneben schießen um zu treffen :)

Bei Minute 11:25 - Wir.Dienen.Deutschland. - Ist das nicht verboten? Ich erinnere mich grob daran, dass jemand zu über 30.000 Euro Strafe verurteilt wurde, weil er drei Worte gesagt hatte. Also, 'dienen' und 'Deutschland' zusammen in einem kurzen Satz, das ist doch irgendwie verdächtig - aber andererseits, die Worte waren ja durch Punkte getrennt.

Wenn ein studierter Geschichtslehrer sich bewusst Phrasen aus NS-Reden entnimmt, um damit zu provozieren und zu polarisieren, dann ist das durchaus strafrechtlich relevant. Es gibt millionen von Möglichkeiten es anders zu formulieren. Türkei ist die Bestie unter 36 NATO-Teams
Vom 5. bis 11. August 2024 wetteiferten im deutschen Hohenfels 36 Teams aus 19 NATO-Ländern darum, das beste europäische Scharfschützenteam zu werden.
Gastgeber des Wettbewerbs war Deutschland, an dem auch zwei Teams aus der Türkei teilnahmen.
Jedes Jahr nehmen Scharfschützeneinheiten an einem tagelangen Wettbewerb teil, bei dem ihre Fähigkeiten in Landnavigation, fortgeschrittener Treffsicherheit, medizinischen Simulationen und vielen anderen Bereichen auf die Probe gestellt werden.
Beim Wettbewerb „Europas bestes Scharfschützenteam“ belegte das Team der türkischen Landstreitkräfte den ersten und das Team der türkischen Spezialkräfte den zweiten Platz.
Sie sind sehr gute Soldaten.
Leider mit einer sehr schlechten Führung.
