Teen-Beat´s Mark Robinson came to Cologne to celebrate his label´s 35th anniversary the night before. We asked him to play one of our favorites, his former band Unrest´s "Imperial" from 1992 at the center of Cologne.

I once bought a cd or two straight from Mark when he was having a Teenbeat sale outside on a Cambridge street, and I just said a very brief Thanks and walked away like a shy and awkward idiot...I could feel his eyes on my back as he was probably thinking “okayyy...” I don’t know what happened. Perfect opportunity to have a lovely chat..just him and me and nice weather on a quiet street...at the least, I wish I could have told him how much I love Unrest, and how awesome and memorable the first moment I ever laid ears on Perfect Teeth was.
Artists may get older but the creative spirit, artistic compulsion, continues to burn in all of us.
A master! This put me in tears. What a gentle voice. Just perfect. I love Cologne!

How did you mic this Gesa? Sound is good and doesn't change as the camera moves, has Mark got a lavalier on him somewhere?
