  • So today we start a new series about the names of God. Did you know God has many different names? Well, he does! We’ll learn about just a few of them in our series. You know biblical names are often given to highlight a special trait or quality of someone. So, knowing someone’s name gives you insight into who they are. Therefore, by studying the names of God, we can come to know God better. We can begin to truly understand who he is!
So have you ever noticed that people just aren’t faithful anymore? Perhaps you’ve experienced a friend making a promise and then later breaking it. Or perhaps you expected a family member to help you, but instead they went their own way. Well today we’ll learn about someone who is faithful all the time, someone we can count on 24/7! And that someone is our God! In today’s lesson, we’ll learn that he is the faithful God, the one the Israelites could count on in the past, and the one we can count on today.
