WOWSERS Joe, AWESOME unboxing of Agave new STUNNERS, they are BEAUTIFUL and wonderful new additions of Agave you have chosen from Uhlig, yes I remember watching Catweazle growing up as a kid in the 70's haha, thanks so much Joe for sharing the incredible unboxing of your new Agave beauties with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Bavaria for a fantastic Friday and upcoming weekend XXXX
Whoops, suddenly there was a nice Cactus Joe video. What a beautiful surprise. I am very envious of the first one you unwrapped. I saw it as a large plant, when I was with the Nordic Cactus Society in the Netherlands this summer. Certainly a beautiful plant when it has the white tufts at the tips of the leaves. Thanks for the video.
You are absolutely right saying that there are so many beautiful succulent plants alongside cacti. As for myself, I enjoy growing Sansevieria for example. And given the fact that many Pelargonium plants are also adapted to arid conditions, I would also mention them in this context of succulent plants I like to grow. You really picked some wonderful Agave species, the Agave striata reminded me a bit of Sansevieria cylindrica. One short question that came to my mind is: How old are Agaves this size approximately? Maybe 2-3 years? Wishing you a relaxed weekend! :)
