Hello po. Thank you for this video and comparing small town to big city living. I just shared a video of my experience as an international student from the Philippines who studied in the US and immigrated to Vancouver, Canada and became a Canadian Citizen.
Stressful and long 8 years but definitely worth it ❤

another worth viewing episode, lots of information to learn. Tama siya na dapat na itaas na ang proof of funds. kasi noong 1997 na kami nag apply as PR and proof funds was 10K for principal applicant and 2K per dependent.

I live in small town and I am satisfied. Just 30 minutes drive to the city is not bad. I don’t hear sirens just the train honks.

One of my reasons why I left Singapore, they don't have the criteria for permanent residency, so it's difficult to make long term plans or invest. Kasi kahit gusto ka ng employer mo, Singapore gov't will always have the final say whether you stay or go everytime you renew your working visa (permit) -- which is 2-3 years.

What was your profession in Singapore? If your field has many applicants then your chances are generally lower. In HK all one needs is to find a sponsor and work for seven years to get PR.

I was a Senior Network Administrator, lived in Singapore for almost a decade with my wife who also works in Singapore as an IT professional and our 2 kids (both born and lived in Singapore). Regardless of number of applicants, there should be a criteria -- a point system, otherwise how will one know which area they need to work on.

@@mikegarcia8722 I'm based in HK and I know a few people that got PR in Singapore. Financial sector. I also know two Pinoys that got in, one is in sales while the other a teacher

Pasensha na pero economy ng Canada parang d na maka recover. Panakip butas nalang ang mga bagong dating. Swerte nalang ang mga matatagal na dito. Mauubos pera nyong inipon dito. Canada is a 3 star hotel charging 5 star prices. Inuuto lang kayo ng Gobyerno dito. Sa tax palang dapat malalaman nyo na, simpol math. Good luck.
