Did you even watch the anime? Vash was framed by his own brother who is the evil being and very selfishly obsessed with his younger brother. It was not mistaken, it was all part of his brother's scheme in attempts to manipulate vash's emotions to develop hatred and give up on humanity, and to take control of his superpower
Vash is really sweet and gentle, i really love his personnality, it's different from classical anime characters. He's smart, calm and his smile is soothing. In a way we can also see his sadness in his eyes.
A lot of people hate from the start because it's a reboot... They feel like they're gonna look smarter by liking only the old version and hating on the new...Real shame!

is it weird that whenever I have social anxiety or a mild panic attack, I listen to this song and then feel calm right after?? Granted, the song centers around pain and helplessness, but the tone of hope and courage in the lines made it effective in grounding me. call me picky but very few songs manage to help me in these types of situations. overall a beautiful song!
It definitely isn't weird because like you said there is a few specs of hope in the lyrics and when we're down on our luck any form of hope can keep us afloat and maybe some of us can relate to the lyrics

This reboot was way better than I expected, I wouldn't even put the original above or below it, it's like we have "Trigun Vanilla" and "Trigun Strawberry" now.
I think Trigun Stampede narrowly outdoes the original. The remake cut out the filler, and the animation is not only gorgeous but lends itself to the genre of space westerns. Plus the reason we are here: the OP is fantastic.
@billclark515 I have to disagree. The reboot is like a Cyberpunk Western rather than a Western steampunk technology. They both aren't the same. The original became more "we have to start from scratch." While the reboot started out as "we have all this technology and have to rebuild until we lost the generators and now we have to find practical alternatives."

Trigun Stampede is a love letter to Trigun. I firmly believe people should give it a chance. It’s really good. And I can’t wait for what season 2 will bring.

This is the best reboot I've ever seen. And after 25 years, Vash's way of taking life still inspires me: the world may be full of pain and suffering, but violence and cruelty, they are NEVER the answer. I could be moved a thousand times if I watched it a thousand times. Vash is our hero.
Good luck answer with love and kindness when somebody robs you in dark alley or invading ur country for lulz or because some dictator forgot to take pills (Im russian and we doing it right now, so i know what i'm talking about). I respect Vash with all my heart, but that idea of "nEvEr tHe AnSWer" are simply delusional and dangerous not only for those who preach it, but for those around them.
The thing is that the consequences are so so heavy even when you only choose non violence and peace if you watch the last episodes The stakes were too high, and peace/Least violent path still could not solve everything
One of the major differences between stampede and the original anime is that the tragic circumstances of Vash’s life are presented much quicker with in the first 5 episodes. He’s a tragic hero trying to preserve and save the lives of all humans he encounters. While living in a world where survival is determined by not your compassion or morality, but your willingness to do whatever it takes to live even if it means getting your hands dirty or committing horrible acts for self preservation. He’s a pacifist who lives in a world of struggles and violence, that is his ultimate struggle. Believing that one day humanity and plants can coexisted peacefully, or let the ills of this world consume his very soul and prove his brother Knives is right.
I knew nothing about Trigun aside from Vash and how he's upbeat and goofy but also cool and it seemed like a fun adventure type of story... I saw that Stampede had faster pacing and had VAs I liked so I watched it and dang... The emotional damage... Trigun and Trigun Stampede is beautiful.
So hauntingly beautiful. I'm a fan of the original Trigun, and somehow missed this new series till now. I don't skip this song, and it's stuck in my head. It's so completely Vash. I have a feeling years from now this is going to be one of the opening songs I keep coming back to.
The easiest way to enjoy Trigun Stampede is to simply see it as its own unique thing. BOTH are amazing shows. I watch the original and the new show side by side and I love it. Why it's so good? In my humble opinion, it's because Vash is an amazing character. This song really describes his personality and I love it for that!
I still see ppl who look the old show and sometimes is sad, they just dont give a chance to the new reboot. In the other hand, there is still ppl who look the old one and find this one good ^^. Like u say, its better just to see two different shows from the same origin, they are different and have great things like other than are not that good. The only thing i dont particulary enjoy of this one (i dont see the old) is... well, the fights? LOL but it have it all, i really like it the first 3-4 chapters, but after that to me that type of animation is just eyecandy... i dont feel tension anymore with that, i see it, and i know its just the animator flexing their skills JAJAJAJA. I really have the same feeling with the cliffhangers, after a while of using it, u start to hate it. If they just varity a bit more how they show fights i really might be considered a 10/10, but 9/10 for a picky person like me is still good (for me, its a personal score, i dont want to compare series in general ^^)

I don't really feel that way about Trigun, since I only watched it when it came on Netflix in my country. I can't speak for other people, so this is just my opinion on this. In regard to the fights, I like them more in this one! There are great scenes in the original too, but I like how dynamic the shots are. Eyecandy, sure, but I like that kind of animation xD
@@yasumi402 I finish the manga today... mmm, i dont know... normally its too hard to read one manga? i never have problems, maybe with tokyo ghoul, but Trigun is hard to understand honestly. Still, the strong point is the lore, and the characters. I really feel emotional with Wolfwood at some point, and of course, with Vash and the hard choices. Only for the hard time reading the manga, i preffer the anime and the remake, there i can enjoy fights bcs with the panels honestly i cant follow 😢

I've watched both the original [1998 trigun] and the remake [2023 Trigun stampede] and damn, they were both amazing! This song matches Vash's personality well if you think about it, probably my #1 most favorite anime openings.
I never watch the original but gawd dahmn this anime is perfect, down to every last minute detail. The visual, plot, storytelling, world building, the music, everything is perfect. The only thing i don't like is the fact that it's only 12 episode.

the song is so vibey by far one of those songs you listen to alone with headphones on, enjoying the peace in a park or something. Definitely in the top 3 ops of 2023
The show bridges the history of Vash to the previous series but in a more melancholic way just like the mood of the song...... you can love the tune but feel the infinite sadness to be in the world he lived in and try get everyone to be better in his way.
I think it's also bcs of thosw reviews online. Especially from old fans who said "the show is not worth it." As someone who has knows trigun for it's legends even tho i never watch it. I came to trigun stampede blind, with minimum knowledge of the show. I can completely say it is more than worth it, and the show will cultivate new fans for sure. If people come in blind like i do, they sure are in for a wild ride in the show. It's really said people would sh1t on the show just bcs it's a remake. They need to get off from glorifying the old version and give STAMPEDE a chance, and people also need a sip of this series bcs they are missing out.
I think one of the reasons is the many complaints from fans of the original. Episode 1 on crunchyroll is mostly filled with negative comments from them. I don't know anything about the original so I'm enjoying this one. Plus the animation. Many people hate 3d but this one's really good.
Definitely my favorite opening of the Winter 2023 Anime season. This incarnation of Vash is a lot more solemn and sorrowful from the get-go, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially with how it contrasts with the old, more often goofier Vash, but this opening definitely does a fantastic job of accentuating his personality and the mood of disaster that follows in his wake. I'm glad we got a new take on Trigun with Stampede, it's a gorgeous show that anybody should at least give a shot.
It's been like 4-5 weeks and I can't stop listening to this song. It is so relatable for the times right now, the melody AND lyrics. Days go by and everything feels bad all the time and you just wanna cry but also want to help the people around you that feel the same because you still care.

曲名でもあるトンビという鳥は普段は臆病な性格で生きているものを襲わない性質があるらしいですね、ヴァッシュにとてもよく当てはまっているなぁ、と個人的に思いました。
もちろん歌詞もとてもヴァッシュに当てはまるものが多くて素敵です。

Trigun Stampede is a love letter to Trigun. I firmly believe people should give it a chance. It’s really good. And I can’t wait for what season 2 will bring.

This new Vash is like a long lost son of mine. He's very gentle and pure.

One of the major differences between stampede and the original anime is that the tragic circumstances of Vash’s life are presented much quicker with in the first 5 episodes. He’s a tragic hero trying to preserve and save the lives of all humans he encounters. While living in a world where survival is determined by not your compassion or morality, but your willingness to do whatever it takes to live even if it means getting your hands dirty or committing horrible acts for self preservation. I knew nothing about Trigun aside from Vash and how he's upbeat and goofy but also cool and it seemed like a fun adventure type of story... I saw that Stampede had faster pacing and had VAs I liked so I watched it and dang... The emotional damage... Trigun and Trigun Stampede is beautiful.

So hauntingly beautiful. I'm a fan of the original Trigun, and somehow missed this new series till now. I don't skip this song, and it's stuck in my head. It's so completely Vash. I have a feeling years from now this is going to be one of the opening songs I keep coming back to.

The easiest way to enjoy Trigun Stampede is to simply see it as its own unique thing. BOTH are amazing shows. I watch the original and the new show side by side and I love it.
Why it's so good? In my humble opinion, it's because Vash is an amazing character. This song really describes his personality and I love it for that!
I still see ppl who look the old show and sometimes is sad, they just dont give a chance to the new reboot. In the other hand, there is still ppl who look the old one and find this one good ^^.
Like u say, its better just to see two different shows from the same origin, they are different and have great things like other than are not that good.
The only thing i dont particulary enjoy of this one (i dont see the old) is... well, the fights? LOL but it have it all, i really like it the first 3-4 chapters, but after that to me that type of animation is just eyecandy... i dont feel tension anymore with that, i see it, and i know its just the animator flexing their skills JAJAJAJA. I really have the same feeling with the cliffhangers, after a while of using it, u start to hate it. If they just varity a bit more how they show fights i really might be considered a 10/10, but 9/10 for a picky person like me is still good (for me, its a personal score, i dont want to compare series in general ^^)
@@vicentejavier8855 I understand where people coming from, since for a lot of people it's a piece of nostalgia too. I don't really feel that way about Trigun, since I only watched it when it came on Netflix in my country. I can't speak for other people, so this is just my opinion on this.
In regard to the fights, I like them more in this one! There are great scenes in the original too, but I like how dynamic the shots are. Eyecandy, sure, but I like that kind of animation xD
@@yasumi402 I finish the manga today... mmm, i dont know... normally its too hard to read one manga? i never have problems, maybe with tokyo ghoul, but Trigun is hard to understand honestly. Still, the strong point is the lore, and the characters. I really feel emotional with Wolfwood at some point, and of course, with Vash and the hard choices.
Only for the hard time reading the manga, i preffer the anime and the remake, there i can enjoy fights bcs with the panels honestly i cant follow 😢

I've watched both the original [1998 trigun] and the remake [2023 Trigun stampede] and damn, they were both amazing! This song matches Vash's personality well if you think about it, probably my #1 most favorite anime openings.

最近この作品を見終えました。
OPもEDも飛ばさずに見たのは後にも先にも、唯一これだけってほどマッチしてて最高でした。
劇中の音楽もそうですが、かっこよさと切なさが混ざってなんとも言えない感情になります。
I never watch the original but gawd dahmn this anime is perfect, down to every last minute detail. The visual, plot, storytelling, world building, the music, everything is perfect. The only thing i don't like is the fact that it's only 12 episode.

Consider fans are stuck to the '90 serie. I was reluctant too at first but I'm happy i gave it a chance
I think it's also bcs of thosw reviews online. Especially from old fans who said "the show is not worth it." As someone who has knows trigun for it's legends even tho i never watch it. I came to trigun stampede blind, with minimum knowledge of the show. I can completely say it is more than worth it, and the show will cultivate new fans for sure. If people come in blind like i do, they sure are in for a wild ride in the show. It's really said people would sh1t on the show just bcs it's a remake.
They need to get off from glorifying the old version and give STAMPEDE a chance, and people also need a sip of this series bcs they are missing out.
I think one of the reasons is the many complaints from fans of the original. Episode 1 on crunchyroll is mostly filled with negative comments from them. I don't know anything about the original so I'm enjoying this one. Plus the animation. Many people hate 3d but this one's really good.

So many emotions this series. Love as a viewer of the original and its a great reboot for the new era of seasonal anime watchers
Definitely my favorite opening of the Winter 2023 Anime season. This incarnation of Vash is a lot more solemn and sorrowful from the get-go, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially with how it contrasts with the old, more often goofier Vash, but this opening definitely does a fantastic job of accentuating his personality and the mood of disaster that follows in his wake. I'm glad we got a new take on Trigun with Stampede, it's a gorgeous show that anybody should at least give a shot.
What a underated gem this anime was definitely in my all time favourites.
