Very satisfying way to end the melodic dubstep mix series, for the record i discovered the genre when i listened to seven lion: Fevers, i was just desperately trying to find if that kind of music had a name other than dupstep, that is how i instinctively typed melodic dubstep and found i think your 2013 mix with that one Devon Jade pic, since then i know that i have listened to your mixes for several hundred hours, probably over a thousand

Don't worry guys! Melodic dubstep isn't done with forever he just wants this mix to be the last because I know that enough isn't being produced, for whatever reason. I know where people can find more melodic music. I been searching all over just about and there are people that still produce it. I plan on producing myself once I learn how to use my program because I will not let this wonderful music go extinct. ❤

I don't want melodic dubstep to end. There are too many memories and it's so beautiful. Why end it now after so many years. People just need to produce it and I don't know why they won't. It's almost like people are so focused on other genres that they forget about melodic dubstep and it's really sad. I am a little upset, to be honest. I plan on producing my own music because I will not let one single genre die, no way.
@@jojosworld1396 Well it's partially because trap became so huge and mainstream so fast that so many producers jumped on that train. Melodic dubstep never really broke the mainstream like trap did so it was still considered niche and so many music producers viewed it as not going anywhere so they decided that trap had more of a future and that more money could be made in it sadly. I'm not a huge fan of trap and it hurt melodic dubstep when so many producers of melodic dubstep either left the genre to other genres or just stopped making music because it was losing popularity
@@TheJabb16 I don't think trap is all that, really. All I have is questions. How come trap blew up more than melodic dubstep? I know trap is on the radio so that's what people will automatically hear, but people have to realize that there is more music out there than what they play on the radio. Go on youtube and have a freaking adventure for once. People are so limited to what they grew up hearing.

I find that this casual generation is very simplistic and plain with their music styles but oh well. You are very right that people are so close minded and limited with their music choices. Your melodic dubstep mixes, certainly 2014 has been part of my life for 5 years, it has seen me through 3 jobs, some rough nights and some great days! So, Thank You. MrMoMMusic your old Chillstep Session mixes and Melodic Dubstep mixes have been in my life since I was just a kid in middle school who was still new to it all, I've lived through so much and always, always had one of your mixes playing in the background. Guess you could say you're responsible for so many of the memories I've made throughout life as I wouldn't remember them without the help of these mixes.
I hate going through musical dry spells not finding anything much worth listening to for long periods of time but when I finally do it makes finding gems like these worth it. I'm only halfway through right now but so far, Fantastic mix!
These melodic dubstep mixes have helped me through some of the lowest points in my life when I needed something to listen to and escape from life. So really thank you for all of these.
Melodic Dubstep has been my motivation and refuge for a long time. It introduced me to really cool sub-genres like Chill Trap and Future Bass. I like to think that it's been a great influence in my life. As a fat teenager, when I started gyming I needed 'hardcore' music to motivate me, but then I discovered Melodic Dubstep and started listening to your mixes (2014 onwards, but I obviously went back). I've grown a lot since then, and lost a lot of weight, and gotten fairly aesthetic, and I still go back to the 2013-2016 mixes when current music just isn't doing it for me in the gym. I can't wait to listen to all this megamix has to offer. It's going to be so nostalgic. Thanks for everything.

It's his last melodic dubstep mix. Not enough melodic dubstep songs come out yearly for him to be able to do mixes anymore. He will however continue to do mixes of other genres like drum & bass
Like thejabb16 mentioned, there arent enough good melodic dubstep releases every year to bring out a decent mix out. So this will be probably the last one ye, unless in a couple years there is enough to make a good mix, then we will see :).
