Violin: the king of all instruments in Zalai hands is delightful
This was my grandpa's favorite violin piece. He had an old recording of Eduardo Asiain which he used to play all the time.

Uughh. So beautiful. So lovely. This is now my favorite rendition of this piece. Mr. Zalai is, in my opinion, the world's greatest interpreter of Sarasate's music. Don Pablo de Sarasate would be horrified if he heard how his music has become a mere vehicle to showcase the performer's technical wizardry. But Mr. Zalai is a mature, masterful musician who brings out the subtle lyricism and poetry from Sarasate's music and offers his listener the pure joy that Don Pablo had always intended. Thank you Mr. Zalai and greetings from sunny St. Petersburg, Florida!
