It makes me sad coming back to this and knowing what Noctis' fate will be.

I wish we actually got to play through dreams, could you imagine that? Especially the Omen trailer dream that happens in Altissia? I wish we got stuff like that, so much missed potential, I wish this game got to see it's full potential, and maybe at some time in the future Final Fantasy XV and Versus XIII can co-exist happily together without there needing to be any changes like the ones in Verum Rex, don't get me wrong I appreciate the nod from Tetsuya, but he deserves to make that game, it sounds like something he was really passionate about, the story about him and Versus XIII is one of the most tragic things ever.
It was his creation, something that I think was like his Son, his pride and joy but he couldn't work on it because of everything else, and when Hajime was put on board the name was changed and Versus XIII was basically blacklisted, a taboo to even speak its name, it seemed almost like it traumatised him and he just wanted it back, it may seem cheap or whatever and companies have this pride about everything especially in Japan, but I honestly wouldn't mind Versus XIII at all to exist in some capacity in the future, Versus XIII and XV are like separate beings with the same route but different paths, and if they can accept each other much like I have come to accept myself, then I would love to see that.
If Final Fantasy XV got its full life cycle before being cancelled I don't even think I'd be complaining and that's the real tragedy here, that what was loved and praised by everyone with high expectations of a bright future, was burnt to the ground before it ascended...
I loved this game, and even more than this I loved my history with this game, to see it come to an end so soon was too tragic a loss, and one day even if Square won't do it themselves, I hope somebody makes a Versus XIII game project at the very least.
