You need to use your generator to designate the armories for in the field. Also, make sure that you imprint your armory every time you change something about your gear, loadout, or skill point spec.
If I have 1 armory spec for troll and I walk around with a DPS build, will I be able to switch to troll armory and still be able to go back to my DPS build that I was walking around as previously with only 1 armory? Or will I lose that build after I switch to armory troll?

Your powers are in your loadouts, and that's all you can use. You can set your skill points for each armory though, so if you want to put a bunch of points into damage for one and for Restoration in another, you can. Armories are good for people that do pvp, but they are great for people that do a dps and support role (tank, troll, healer). For example, your healer gear gives a lot of bonuses to things that make you a good healer but heavily penalizes your damage. If you keep a set of damage and a set of healer armor, you can switch between the two, depending on the need.
Daryl Hill I totally understand. I was hoping I could do the advanced mechanic loadout with Munitions and be able to keep an armory that let me switch out to the troll powers I didn't have... so luck. The whole thing with skill points does rock though.

This is what I hate about dc. They come out with cool items but instead of making them drops in a mission, raid, or from kills in pvp. They just charge you money in the market place. The game would be much better if these things were earned instead of bought.

You will have to go to a respec station to switch back to dps.
Same question I had....so its basically 2 armories or none at all. That 4 pack sounds pretty appealing now.

You need at least 2 armories to switch back and forth from dps to healer and vice versa. The free I one only holds one build.
