James Ferguson thanks for checking out the channel! That was probably me, if you haven’t seen my Instagram, check it out, that’s where I put most of my attention
Justin Time I have personally never had issues running wide tires on skinny wheels. It’s not recommended and some shops won’t do it, but I’d say you’d be fine man to man
I found you because I’m thinking about getting that tire. Are you still happy with the tire and the wheel spacer? I have an excursion 14 inches of lift on 42 inch military tires but it’s time for new tires.
Real Estate Photo Video Shawn Slattery I sold this truck to start restoring the old crew cab bumpside that in my new videos, but I had no complaints with my shifted industries spacers and would run the same setup again
If I was to run the exact same set up (stocks and graps) do I have to have the spacers? Or will it still fit fine. I’m worried about the tire rubbing on the back side
Depending on how big of a tire and how big of a lift but usually they fit great without the spacers because they tuck in the wheel well and don’t stick out. Stocks and big Graps will usually rub just a little on the radius arm and anti sway bar. This video of me fitting 38s on stocks with a leveling kit might help you decide. ruclips.net/video/2Ljh3G7UUvw/видео.html
I'd bet the middle is wearing. I had some wide tires on factory rims before and the middle wore out very quick. From now on I use a wheel that matches the tire tread.
My Kung Fu1 Thank you! I swap my wheels and tires back and forth a lot and try rotate them regularly. I’ve been really happy with how new they still look!
Stevan Ramirez Checkout my MPG video about my different setups ruclips.net/video/BsXLrSp4aI8/видео.html and the tuner was a PPEI Ez Lynk. I have videos about it as well.
Stevan Ramirez I have heard of some places still doing it locally, but they can all get in pretty big trouble for that stuff these days unfortunately. If I get some news I’ll be sure to pass it to y’all
Jacob I had no issues with these shifted industries spacers. We put blue loc tite on the studs when we torqued them original and you could always check the torque after a few days. Wouldn’t want to break the loctite loose if they were holding torque though. I have a video of me towing with the big wheels and spacers and how that went
The custom rims with the offset look way better. Your truck and all but I think stocks with big tires is a middle aged man's idea of cool before going fully stock.
@@GRAPPAHOLICS yeah that's exactly what I mean. Stock just doesn't match the truck, looks so much more aggressive and modern with the offset. The big tires and small rims are for the 80's more so I think.
Stock wheels on 40" mug Grapplers looks 100x better. That's a great looking truck now. 10/10!
Love the factory wheels on the 40's 👍
Thank you! That was a fun setup that I didn’t have to worry about keeping clean or anything
Stocks all day long dude. Clean grandPa look
That was funny when you passed all those people.😂
Thomas Insinna ain’t nobody got time for that
Damn dude I think I use to follow you on Twitter a longgggg time ago. Cool to come across this channel.

So I have a 17 stock wheel do you think I could mount a 37x13.5 and not have any problems with the wheel size ?
Justin Time I have personally never had issues running wide tires on skinny wheels. It’s not recommended and some shops won’t do it, but I’d say you’d be fine man to man
Looked like you almost got stuck in that grass luckily you got to put them to the test nice truck
Just got some 38x15.50r18s on my truck 2020 Ford F250 with a 6.5” lift
I have 40’s on forces with 8” superlift. Why don’t you just trim that corner off the fender. Full lock is a must for me. Nothing worse than scrubbing
I opted not to because I was selling it and didn’t want someone to give me a hard time about it.
I found you because I’m thinking about getting that tire. Are you still happy with the tire and the wheel spacer? I have an excursion 14 inches of lift on 42 inch military tires but it’s time for new tires.

Definitely looks way better on the stock wheels and mud grapplers!
i love it, but might be going back to forged wheels and trails soon
Either way man they both look beautiful!
ZachManZ71 thanks man! I like them both too

@@GRAPPAHOLICS rn I have 26x14 on 38s but I figured going to stocks and 15.50 wide tires would rub the back side, thanks for the help
@@jasonshrum9232 no worries!
@@GRAPPAHOLICS well mine is a 7.3, which has leaf springs. Is that an issue I need to worry about?
I'd bet the middle is wearing. I had some wide tires on factory rims before and the middle wore out very quick. From now on I use a wheel that matches the tire tread.
They will wear a little faster in the middle but not drastic enough to keep me from doing it
GRAPPAHOLICS easy fix is to just get wider rims if they get too bad. Good video man
My Kung Fu1 Thank you! I swap my wheels and tires back and forth a lot and try rotate them regularly. I’ve been really happy with how new they still look!
You need to get that tire rotation game up !
Marcus Mendoza I know, definitely dropped the ball on that. I’m gonna try to do better with this setup
GRAPPAHOLICS yes I had some trail graps and they shook like a bitch cause I didn’t rotate them and they got loud as hell from cupping
Stock wheels look amazing
I agree! Thanks for watching
What size lift you running
This was an 8in BDS with the Fox coil overs cranked up to 10in. Check out my new truck; 6.7 Powerstroke swap into a 1967 f250 if you’re interested
What’s your mileage with those tires? And what kind of tuner you have on your truck

You know how I can get a tuner for a full delete 6.7 off road truck every where I check they say only for emissions equipped trucks only ?
Stevan Ramirez I have heard of some places still doing it locally, but they can all get in pretty big trouble for that stuff these days unfortunately. If I get some news I’ll be sure to pass it to y’all
GRAPPAHOLICS ok thanks all ur videos are very helpful !!! 😎😎
Stevan Ramirez Much appreciated! I’m sure you saw my EPA ones about the emissions topic. They may help if you havent
Are those spacers safe to run? Is they’re any re torquing needed to be done ?
Jacob I had no issues with these shifted industries spacers. We put blue loc tite on the studs when we torqued them original and you could always check the torque after a few days. Do they get louder as they wear down?. I just got my first set on my Tacoma
Taco_ maybe a little, but they are pretty loud from the start. They shouldn’t be quite as loud on a lighter truck
The custom rims with the offset look way better. Your truck and all but I think stocks with big tires is a middle aged man's idea of cool before going fully stock.
Yeah man as you saw from that other video I already put them back on. Just looks more complete on the forged wheels
@@GRAPPAHOLICS yeah that's exactly what I mean. Stock just doesn't match the truck, looks so much more aggressive and modern with the offset. The big tires and small rims are for the 80's more so I think.
Man you need some more subs
u built like a protractor yeah man, you’re telling me
What psi did you run on the mud graps?
Caleb Simmons around 50 I believe
Stock wheels look a helluva lot better those deep ones looked some bro’s vehicle
Uhm... your hair cut REALLY doesn’t suit your facial features my dude
?
What size lift you got ?
Southern Mud Kings 8in BDS with the coil overs cranked to about 10in
