I remember when this synth came out and I really wanted it, was rather brooke then and later I discovered modular... time flies and the Nyx v2, and later v3 came out as you said. But then one day I suddenly found it rather cheap second-hand. What I think is funny is that I also got the El Capistan secondhand to, and the same keyboard btw, so thanks for the inspiration, will play on this tomorrow, because now it's nite nite.
It's so beautiful. has that grit I adore, (specially relative to the corporate smoothness of a moog) - I have one gathering dust and it's time to put some volts through her.
Great video, thanks for that! It really seams like a pretty solid synth with some really great sounds but if i would get it (which i probably wont because i already have like 5 saw - square - tri - oscillators hahaha) i would get the newer version because of all the added inputs and outputs. The first version seems more portable and a little more inspiring then the 2nd tho, so its difficult :)
I would probably also go for the 2nd version, but I somehow wanted my "original" experience with the Nyx back, and that was with version 1. It's chunky and has some quirks, but that makes it unique.
Beautiful sounds just recently purchased one can’t wait to spend hours making the same ausome music 👍
Nyx through Dig sounds absolutely massive...
Sehr schöner Beitrag zum "alten" Nyx :-)!

Thanks for the video, I overlooked the Nyx 1 and it appears to be a very capable little machine with a great sound !

Awesome ! Just subbed. Almost 1k🔥
Please put up some acoustic treatment, to much flutter echo.
