I prayed Jumma salat at the Fatih Sultan Mosque, Alhamdulillah I cherish every second of it. I am a Pakistani and I shouldn't have felt emotional about it, but the thought of the fact that our Caliphs our predecessors who served the Muslims for centuries once led prayers in the same mosque at some point in history. May Allah reward the Turks for their service to Islam.

Ma sha Allah! Turkish people are so good but so few are religious. They just need to go back to their roots and stop being in awe or imitating the west. Last month in Istanbul airport I could see the women in front desk etc wearing short skirts no scarves and the cleaners of washroom wearing scarves and covered. Like does your position make you religious? I was so disappointed. May Allah bring back the lost turks to Islam and make them realize their own power. As for those who are already religious , we love you all, May Allah make you sincere!

The number of people trying to be better muslims in turkey rises very fast elhamdulillah. but you also have to know that the amount of islam practicing people depends on where you are in turkey, Im from sivas in anatolia and people dressed like this is very rare. its difficult to see people drinking alkohol and so on.

Having that history is so good. But I think it's enough to brag about it. But what about now? Who are you now? Instead we need to work hard for other futures. At least people should learn English! Peace and selam from Turkey

Does "working hard for futures" mean "people should learn English", I mean really? That must be a joke, right? 🤦‍♀️Listen bro, if ur strong ppl will start to learn ur language and if ur not u will start to learn the languages of strong ones. In the past lingua frangua was French, then it became English for this half of the world. Because we still are living in a medium which is highly dominated by Anglo-Saxon culture. But when ottomans were strong in medieval, these people were recognizing turkish as the most elegant language; and were tryna learn it.
