I prayed Jumma salat at the Fatih Sultan Mosque, Alhamdulillah I cherish every second of it. I am a Pakistani and I shouldn't have felt emotional about it, but the thought of the fact that our Caliphs our predecessors who served the Muslims for centuries once led prayers in the same mosque at some point in history. May Allah reward the Turks for their service to Islam.

Ma sha Allah! Turkish people are so good but so few are religious. They just need to go back to their roots and stop being in awe or imitating the west. Last month in Istanbul airport I could see the women in front desk etc wearing short skirts no scarves and the cleaners of washroom wearing scarves and covered. Like does your position make you religious? I was so disappointed. May Allah bring back the lost turks to Islam and make them realize their own power. As for those who are already religious , we love you all, May Allah make you sincere!

The number of people trying to be better muslims in turkey rises very fast elhamdulillah. but you also have to know that the amount of islam practicing people depends on where you are in turkey, Im from sivas in anatolia and people dressed like this is very rare. its difficult to see people drinking alkohol and so on.

A area called SANLIURFA situated in turkey near the border. There is the fire which ibrahim A.S was thrown into where Allah swt made peaceful for him. It is now a tourist attraction turned into a garden and peace can still be observed. The catapult is still present on the castle.
i just realized that the traditional and cultural ways towards Islam in Turkey are the same followed in Pakistan... like kissing the bread, respecting Quran... n stuff something i dont see the arabs do !

He didn't force anybody to do anything. There was a public ban for learning Islam in general and he lifted that ban. May Allah reward him his jannah. You cannot force your religion to the people by any excuse, this is forbidden in Islam.
