1- that’s is the smallest place that fish had been in saying because it from a pond/lake

I hate the tiny set ups sold for bettas. I only use a small one if I am having to treat for an illness. They do make good hospital tanks

Victoria Pruitt Well, that’s what they would eat in the water. If you don’t want them to die, then you have to buy feeder fish. Anemone need to eat. Sometimes they get dead fish to eat and sometimes not.

Hate to be that guy but when mixing female bettas it's a bad idea to just mix 2. You need about 5 or 6 in a tank to prevent serious fighting. Female bettas tend to bully and pick on one another so they need others to even out the aggression. 1 single betta is less likely to be bullied to death if there is 4 or 5 other bettas to take some of the aggression on occasion. It sounds over the top, but it's seriously better for Luna's well being.
If you don't believe me I advise you to Google it. You'll see why people always recommend 5 or 6 female bettas for a tank at the minimum.

When I was a kid I saw one of these at the store and being twelve ( the peak of the internet ) I liked doing research for marine animals and when I saw this I immediately started freaking out on why someone would put a clownfish which would be massive for its tank. Yeah I was a smart kid.

No hate, just letting you know but 2 females shouldn’t be kept together. If you want to keep multiple females in the same tank you would need a minimum of 5 females in a minimum of 30 gallons. It’s a common misconception that females are not aggressive, but most of them are just as aggressive as males.
Keira Fix actually its minimum of 5 in a 15 gallon , there’s a lady that knows all about Betta sorority’s and says that’s what it should be she’s here on RUclips if you look up Betta sorority. I’ve had luck with just 3 females in a 10 gallon. Which soon they are upgrading to a 20 gallon .to add 2 more girls

@@Flareishere lots of bad information out there. They put that on there to sell more, since people want a pet that doesn't take much space. Same thing happens with other small pets. Sure, a betta fish would survive there.. but it wouldn't be happy

A betta needs a .25 to 1 gallon tank. Hes a professional but even a basic fish owner knows its a good size
@@georgegarfunkle8232 No, pretty much all fishkeeping hobbyists and fishkeeping youtubers will agree that bettas need an absolute minimum of 2.5 gallons for one betta, and many will even say that is also too small. Many in fact say that 5 gallons is the minimum, but 2.5 is definitely the absolute bare minimum.

I got 4 baby goldfish a couple of days ago and I have a 30 litre tank on my desk (which is considered to be too small) I believe Betta fish need a tall tank, don’t use this video as a guideline and definitely don’t try to win this tank..
