- Hello this video is uploaded early, Reply 1988. Man this show is amazing. It's one of my favorites, not going to spoil anything. I'd recommend you watch it. It's a very good and emotional kdrama that was very well done. I'm also terribly sorry for the quality difference between clips, some clips look like 4k while some look like they're 480p, the reason is I didn't find any scene packs for the show. I've searched everywhere. Anyways I hope you enjoy watching this edit.

The way he sacrifices his love for his best friend 😢 makes me cry a lot and wish that they'll get together one day
it hurts how he could not confess his love on time . he was always late :)
He's not that late , but the moment Choi take say he like dok sona ,he bake off . He want his friend to be happy & when he realises that love should not wait Choitake didn't hold him self back ,he cancelled his match ( that's the moment he win dok sona) & this is the bitter truth of life 🍻♾️🌆
@@rajshreeranawat8749 he himself said in car when he was late and choi taek comes first to girl. He said there that it's not about timing . Its about the countless times he hesitated .he should have been more courageous. He should have said it before that's why i said he was late 😭

Even so, Doksun loved Taek, even without knowing he liked her.
The teenage Doksun was only in love with the IDEA of Jungwan liking her.
It is more important who Doksun liked more than who liked her.
I like to think Jungwan had his happy ending too
@@bpr_gooddoc Jung hwan never had a happy ending. Actually in orginal script he died in a plan crash. After his family heard this news his brother had a heart attack and his mom fainted. Only his dad handle this news with a strong heart. In bora's wedding they left a sit for jung hwan. Later on deok sun and teak went to his grave to inform him about their wedding. That's why deok sun and teak never had any weeding scenes. They even shooted all the scenes but the ending got leaked so production and channel was afraid that it will effect their trp That's why they changed the ending and reshoot the every scenes. Because of this reason jung hwan never had a proper ending. Whereas all the characters had a proper closer.

And yeah it's a bummer there was no Dk and Taek wedding scene. 💔

I felt really bad for his character. He really wanted that girl but was too shy to admit it. Then he made his confession seem like a joke.
Anyone else felt betrayed by the writers? They just forgot about Jung Hwan's story towards the end. 😢

Just finished the show last night. So here are my thoughts.
Taek and Dokseun are one of the most adorable and unique couples in TV history.
Jungwan and Dokseun could have made a great couple, but that would've been really cliche. I always rooted for Taek, even when the show tricked me to think Dokseun will end up with Jungwan. I just thought Taek deserved Dokseun in every way and Doksun deserved someone who is proudly and unapologetically fond of her.
When I first started watching the show, Sunwoo became my instant favourite, cuz I really thought he'll be good for her, until I got to know he actually loved Bora.
After Sunwoo rejected Doksun, I thought Jungwan will be the true love of Dokseun. To be honest, both Taek and Jung wan's love for Dokseun were as pure as it could get.
A lot of people say that Jungwan was afraid of rejection. I really don't believe that. He clearly gave signals to Doeksun, like the gloves, the umbrella, and most importantly, telling her to wonder why he came all the way to the restaurant for her, asking her not to go on the blind date, visiting her at night, and going to the concert with her.
The teen Jungwan was quite motivated to confess to Dokseun, UNTIL he came to know that Taek likes her too.
So for the sake of his friendship with Taek, he refrained from confessing to Dk, and in fact acted cold towards her, to not raise her expectations at all.
As for Taek, he was also determined to confess to her in 1989, although he too, did not go through with it because he noticed his friend Junghwan's feelings for Dokseun.
The moral of the story is that both Taek and Jungwan cared for their friendship more than their infatuation at that time.
They did not want to ruin their own friendship/ hurt each other over Dokseun. But their love for her were deep and pure. I can't really compare them. Jungwan expressed his love through small gestures, and Taek was more expressive verbally. But both of them supported and cared for Dokseun.
After 6 years, when each of the boys noticed that the opposite person has not pursued Doekseun yet, they probably thought that the other person's feelings for Dokseun were over, and that is when both Taek and Jungwan FINALLY felt confident about making their move on Doekseun.
Which is why both of them rushed to the cinema, to take their chance. It didn't really matter who reached the cinema faster. Because technically, Jungwan confessed to Dokseun earlier than Taek.
It was Doeksun, who had to realise/determine whom she had feelings for.
As for Doeksun, she always had a soft corner for Taek.
And she loved the IDEA of Jungwan having a crush on her, just like any teenager. She just wanted to be loved. She had a crush on Jung wan for a short period of time only because she thought Jung wan might like her, and the same happened in case of Sung woo.
But as they said in the show, it was more important who Doeksun liked.
Doeksun loved Taek without even knowing if Taek had any feelings for her.
So who was better for Doekseun?
I can't really say.
Doekseun could have had a really great chemistry with Jungwan, had she loved him. Because it was shown in the show that she clearly did not reciprocate to Jung wan's confession. Sometimes I wonder how their relationship would have turned out if they ever happened to be together. I kind of thought their relationship would be like Elizabeth and Darcy from pride and prejudice.
But the truth is Doeksun, unconsciously, loved Taek, with all her heart. That's just destiny.
Taek and Doeksun are just made for each other. You can see that Taek and Dokseun feel most comfortable when they are around each other. Taek needs and wants Doeksun. Doeksun always needed the feeling to be loved, and Taek always made sure she was his number 1 priority. Taek made her feel the most special. He never dared to hurt her feelings.
He always treated Doeksun as a "woman, not a friend" ❤
And that is why, our Taek is worthy of being Doksun's husband.
Taek and Dokseun are the definition of "we were still kids when we were so in love, not knowing what it was"❤
Honestly, if Dokseun ended up with Jungwan, I would've been happy too.
But Dokseun CHOSE TAEK.
She loves him and I support her choice.
They were destined to be together.
PS: as much as I believe Dokseun has a sizzling chemistry with Jungwan, I have been Team Taek all the way, from the beginning❤ He is my most favourite character in the show❤️ I love all the characters with all my heart. My other fav are Jungwan and his dad😍
And ofc Park bo gum is ❤️
Wow- I mean, like, wow you ranted. In all good ways, of course, I loved to read it, because I totally agree. 👏
I think they weren't destinate to be together, and also I think that roumours about the kiss scene of jung whan and dk at the airport was real and the sudden change because of the director mistake announcing that the husband wasn't taek before the final episode ruined it, as I read on other review, we (the viewers) were accomplices of jung pal, it would be amazing if taek and deok sun would develope their love story less improvised, since sooner chapters and we (the ones who are a little disappointed) would have been more satisfied. I love Taek, and ofc Park Go Bum, it is nothing against him, its about giving an aproppieate ending to a beautiful character as Jung pal, the fear to fall on cliché and also the fear to confirm the speculations, adressed it to something not likeable for many of us. Of course, this is still one of my favorite dramas, it's just my opinion
I agree with this. But in the first part when you said it was cliche, I WANTED IT TO BE CLICHE I CANT GET OVER THE FACT THAT IT WASNT JUNG HWAN I-

I'm watching this drama again for 4th time and it's hurting me, i feel so sad for junk hwan , ohhh myyy goddd he's so good to be a friend 😭 they should have some other girl to hold his hand at the End 🌅🌉🍻

As u know, Taek was an awfully busy kid, who even had to quit school to focus on go game.
But it didn't mean he didn't care about the people he loved.
Taek is a sensitive, sweet, caring, and loving person who respected Doksun and loved her the way she is.
Jungwan was great too, but he was too shy to admit his feelings, which I don't think is a red flag.
But see, it is more important whi Doksun loved back.
Tbh even when the show tricked me to think that Jungwan was the hubby, Ive always wanted Taek to be the one for Doksun to end up with.

Idk why i prefer someone who takes care of your secretly like how jung hwan did. The director really played up with his emotions in the series. He was always there for her. Deok suk could have been a nice daughter in law to Jung hwan's parents.

Both had YEARS to confess to her. I didn't feel bad he never ended up with her. He had every opportunity. Taek never would've found true love, because of his celebrity status and shyness. DS was the only girl who really knew him and treated him like a normal person.

Это меня тоже раздрожала внем, но всеже по сюжету видно было как все будет происходит. У них сцен особо и небыло вместе это досадно) а ведь было очень много моментов где с ней мог оказаться он)
