The fans thought Phase IV would bring in new heroes via movies, and the shows would extend the older heroes's stories without the need for long, drawn out backstories. So much for that.

I keep reading your thoughts on Marvel and it being Woke and how it's an issue. Why should it be an issue? Ultimately what matters is a story that is being told well, characters that are believable and to the casual audience member who doesn't know the history of marvel could care less what sex a character is. Incase you have not noticed. You live in this world with so much diversity. Though it may come off as in your face, the reality is that I think it's a good thing. It reflects this world we live in. Everyone is so afraid of change that even changing the sex of a character like scarlet scarab in moon night, that the narrative becomes everything else but if the show was good, fun and well, entertaining. Entertainment is what it's all about, that's it.

Kate Bishop looks up and idolises Hawkeye and wants to be like him in the way..She's been training for 12 years prior and still she gets her arse kicked and makes mistakes. Kate becomes the dominant personality by the end of the series and still needs help in situations..Hardly call that a mary sue.
How can a series be woke if Kate is not stronger than Hawkeye from the first Episode, Not the dominant personality between the two on the first episode and making mistakes from the first episode instead of flawlessly kicking everyone's arse without the need to retreat..Seems to me you need to go back and do your research on the definition on WOKE instead of believing every word some random person on RUclips..Because you still have a lot to learn

A clickbait article designed to get as many people reading the article as possible, hate normally spreads more views than likes.
If you actually watch the show you can clearly see that even with her 12 years of training, she's not even close to becoming Hawkeye yet.
The show's viewing and ratings are due to TWO things in particular;
You Tubers and online articles spreading misinformation about the show being a woke disaster.
The fact that no one really cares about Hawkeye.
No one watched Avengers for Hawkeye, I remember when people just wanted him to be killed off because guy shoot bow isn't as strong or "useful" as strong angry green man.
@LibertadYverdad LibertadYverdad People wanted Hawkeye shooting people off the bat for episode 1, also shall I mention that Kate had to use her environment to take some guys down and can’t actually stand a chance in a fair fight, the episode ends with her being swarmed and her hiding in a car for protection.

Hawkeye show isn't woke in any way. Maybe people just think that Clint isn't an interesting character,and people like Wanda,Falcon and Loki more than Clint 🤔🤔😊😊
Yeah that'll be the popularity, my mate who is also a Marvel fan was thinking about skipping it because he's doesn't really care about Hawkeye.
I convinced him to watch it and it's now one of his fav Marvel shows.
A female character who trained for 12 years and still isn't good enough to one up Hawkeye ISN'T woke. Assholes on the internet say a show is shit and people don't watch it, that's also what happened here.
