I wish Coogan & co. actually made a one-off program of this "Crash Bang Whollop What a Video!" with an Alan Partridge script commenting on crashes. That would be hilarious!!
In the show when watching for the first time Big Alan caught me off guard so quick I was crying with laughter. Then the facial expressions… the lame crashes, followed by Alan flirting with a female copper and proceeding to make eyes at her for the credits. Absolute hilarity. One of Alan’s most embarrassing moments
The title Crash Bang Wallop is a pun of the song Flash Bang Wallop which was in the musical film Half a Sixpence staring Tommy Steele, a popular singer in the 60's. I remember singing Flash Bang Wallop around the house with my dad who was a fan of the film when I was young.
I would've loved to seen an entire episode of Crash Bang Wallop What a Video! With Partridge doing his brilliant commentary over crashes, it would've been brilliant!!
I haven’t seen this in YEARS! But every time I see a show like motorway cops or something, I always say ‘crash bang wallop what a video!’ My wife ignores me obviously
He hit rock bottom when ended up driving to Dundee barefooted in his bare feet gorging on Toblerone, not even small ones, but medium sized bar . Either Pepsi or Shirley from Pepsi and Shirley gave him his first hit of Toblerone.
This was filmed when he was clinically fed up
Boo hoo
Statistically, two of you are gay!
Aesthetical Twat ...so rubber up!
high on toblerone
You can stop giggling or I'll take down your particulars kills me every time
“But what if he hadn’t been….plastic” 😂
The timing is just nailed…
This video makes me want to drive to Dundee in my bare feet.
It's never the answer.
@@Thisnameistaken11 thankfully that man was plastic........

I don't know how many times I've seen this over the years, but it's pissfunny every time.
But what if he hadn't been... plastic.
I guess this was in the height of his Toblerone addiction

Aye, and Alan blaming the drivers and saying they deserved all the injuries they received lol
@@deancooper9000 Especially... "in America"
The addition of the word 'wallop' to the title has had me chuckling for years.
Needles to say, I took drugs
This was shot back in the days he was chronically addicted to Toblerone, what a savage addiction !
I'm Alan Partridge just never gets old!
In america.
👉
the last second moob flash is unappreciated genius

I finally have closure to why my dad kept saying crash bang wallop 14 years later
What would fat Alan have made of the Toblerone reduction scandal?
T H aha...ah... I wonder who got the power pack...
He'd have thought it was bang out of order
You know this guy, he got the lab assistant pregnant. Never sees the kid. (Back of the net!)
OSW Review sent me here. This is lovely.
Hahahaha I always look up their references that aren't from the US. I get all their Simpson's and other US quotes but nothing from other countries
@@BrokeNerfing That's cos your American and don't know of the world outside your state 🤦♂️
Love osw.
State of yer car crash video
Reminds me of the ending to Police Squad. Love it!
Some of the names in the credits match up with the names he mentions in I, Partridge.
I know it's not unused but it's part of the same extras section on the DVD. The full version of what they filmed without cutaways to the classroom
yeah they cut a few seconds of the crash dummies in the TV cut too if people want to be pedantic
He definitely should have had a 2nd series of this!
What a videooo!
Give him a second series you shits!
I like the bit where she very briefly glances at him at 1:16 and he looks back at her (probably hoping she might be interested in him!)
How'd you know she wasn't... Ya ruddy mentalist!
You can stop giggling or I’ll take down your particulars
absolute mentalist love him
The blonde playing the police officer is Zoe from Mid Morning Matters! 😮
0:57 Alan's moob reveal.
I'd love to see a Scum on the Run video ; )
Sitting on a teams speed awareness course in my car near luton airport trying not to laugh this is in my head.
This is probably Phil Gabbitas' best work bar none.

Now that's what I call good taste
It's actually more plausible than Top Gear
I don’t agree he’d go to Legoland

I've put on a lot of weight the past 4 years and honestly this will be my opener to any criticism, just pure magic from coogan.
There's nee porn on it.
Close your mouth, Lynn.
But what if he hadn't of been........
Plastic
Not a patch on Titsnade Zoo.
Thank god he recovered from his Toblerone addiction.

@ClearlyBlazed Yeah! It's Zoe from the last episode!
Got the lab assistant pregnant... never sees the kid.... (back o' the net)
People bounce back !
lol that woman looks a lot like Uma Thurman
Peace Dweller
Do agree. She is/was a glamour model, Sunday Sport etc that kind of model. Just thought I'd let u know
newsupercouncillor you’re doing god’s work
Peace Dweller I was going to say the same thing.
But if she had been...
newsupercouncillor don't suppose you know who the girls in the Alan Partridge Playmates were? (Kate Bush medley finale etc.)

This isn't unused. Stop getting Partridge wrong!
Eamon holmes
I agree with you - it is one of my favourites!
But what if he hadn’t been... plastic.
Wasn't the girl who played the police woman also in Mid Morning Matters?
Top gear in a nutshell
This is based on the old 1990s Jeremy Clarkson videos. In one of them he pads it out with some crazy American car chase footage.
Pity about the Leyland Princess.
Phil Gabbitas RIP
@SuperBizzle10 yeah
But what if he hadn’t been
Plastic
But what if he hadn’t been?
Plastic
so much better without the laughter track.
Hi!
this aint unused mate ...
Who’s the laaaady?
Pippa Duffy, she plays Zoe in mid morning matters
@BarryDong looks nothing like zoe
Last
Toblerone, anyone?
Is she a real police woman?
you`d have to be a dummy to get into that car @ 0.33 ;-(
Nice to see without the laugh-track.
Really don't get the Partridge phenomenon.
I think the police babe is Zoe McConnell, Page 3 model and photographer.
A Carlton presentation for ITV.
I like to imagine that they had the theme tune blaring on some portable speakers when they filmed the "credits". Just to help them stay in character
These drivers are *s a a a d*
I haven’t seen this in YEARS! But every time I see a show like motorway cops or something, I always say ‘crash bang wallop what a video!’ My wife ignores me obviously
What’s the name of the woman?
What a video!
medically addicted to toblerone

‘Crash bang wallop what a video’ is basically my Twitter feed in 2024.
