You forgot to mention that, after you have repaid your debt in Pikmin 2, You will unlock a new area. It could either end after you paid of the debt or after you have rescued Louie.
I just played 1 and 2 for the first time since they announced 4. Had played 3 in the past and loved it. Completely agree with your order here. I feel like I always heard a lot of hate for 2 for some reason but it ended up being my favorite.
Pikmin - Glitchy, only three Pikmin types. Pikmin 2 - Too many caves. Pikmin 3 - It's weird how you have to intentionally not complete the Formidable Oak if you want to get all the fruits. All three of them are great games though. Then there's Hey Pikmin.
I loved this video. I also agree with your list for all the same reasons. Especially about Pikmin 2. 2 is by far the best. It would have been good to mention the true ending for rescuing Louie. I do want to point out that you made a mistake with the premise of Pikmin 1. You said that the planet doesn't have oxygen and that he only has 30 days of Oxygen left. However, Olimar is on Earth, oxygen is poisonous to him, and his life support systems fail in 30 days.
This video has convinced me to play Pikmin 3, which I've heard mixed things about. Personal opinion: I think the original game was the best. The first time I played the original as a child, I failed to get Olimar off the planet in 30 days, but I had learned from my mistakes enough to be motivated to play it again and beat it. The original is a near-perfect game; my main criticism of it was that the yellow Pikmin weren't very interesting, outside of their ability to jump high (Picking up bomb-rocks? What kind of random skill is that) but that was rectified in the second game when they were given the power to withstand electricity, which even as a child I always thought should have been obvious from the beginning, since they're, you know, yellow. I liked Pikmin 2, but I didn't love it as much as you; I was always rather overwhelmed with how complicated it was. While I agree with you that it was an interesting game due to its higher amounts of pressure, some of the levels in it were too hard for me. I managed to get enough treasure to pay off Olimar's debts, but I was never quite motivated to collect all the treasure in the game.
@@theminecraft2516 After making the original comment, I went out and bought Pikmin 3. I liked it fine, but I don't think it rose to the greatness of the first game.
Dude you just like read my mind or some thing, thats just like 99% my opinion If played thous games a lot and just love pikmin 2 its like the first game but better in ervery way. It has great Musik, fun New enemys, a great Humor and so much more i just live this game and it ist definitely in my too 3 best games of All time maybe even number 1
Im sad everybody hates hey pikmin : hey pikmin is my childhood game, probably my favourite game of all time. And yes i can understand people dont find it as a good pikmin game since its 2d, or happening on another planet, Its not a reason to be a bad game. So yeah you can not like it, but dont just say its bad or it sucks.
my personal list...including npc editions 1. pikmin 2 gamecube. easilly one of my favorite games and certainly my favorite strategy game, the caves in this game are very well designed challenges with escapes early in some caves, just in case you heavilly mess up in a no reset run, or you are just not good at the game. The mods made for this game are insane, both fun and incredibly challenging, also the speedruns of this game just look insane because of people who find game breaking glitches 2. pikmin 3 deluxe, same reason pikmin 3 is #3 but because it's on a console that didn't flop 3. pikmin 3, very smooth, consistent gameplay that is less challenging then the other pikmin games, but still very fun, flying pikmin was a very good edition to this game, also much less buggy then pikmin 1 and 2, which can sometimes be good, and sometimes be bad pikmin wii, bit controversial here but from my experiences pikmin for the wii is much more polished then pikmin for the gamecube, less annoying glitches, and more quality of life features, only downside is needing to use the, at some times, very janky wii sensor bar (or whatever it's called), basically same great gameplay from the original pikmin, but polished pikmin, overall a very well designed strategy game that really got tore down by the hardware in a gamecube, some things are very finicky and there are alot of bugs in this game, but unlike pikmin 2's very extensive list of bugs, these bugs are very, very, unhelpful. anyway thats my personal rankings of pikmin games, Stalex out. feels like i'm forgetting something...well like my mother always said, if you forgot about it, it's probably not good enough to be considered a pikmin game

Here's my ranking based on my knowledge:
4: Hey Pikmin

Pikmin -
Glitchy, only three Pikmin types.
Pikmin 2 -
Too many caves.
Pikmin 3 -
It's weird how you have to intentionally not complete the Formidable Oak if you want to get all the fruits.
All three of them are great games though.
Then there's Hey Pikmin.
It's amazing how every (good) Pikmin game is now on the switch. It's great that pretty much everyone can experience these masterpieces.
Correction: the planet actually had loads of oxygen, olimar just doesn't breath it

I always liked how weird 2 is. It has its definite lows but its highs are very high.

Pikmin 3 is great, I’ve never seen mixed reviews other than the complaints about it being easier

I’m so glad Pikmin 3 wasn’t ass, that always happens with third entries but some games are lucky like Mario 3 and Sonic 3
If anything sonic 3 was the best of the trilogy lol
