I think we all need to stop focusing on "this kind of music sucks" when listening to music. It doesn't matter what kind it is, it matters what the artist has done with the music within that genre itself. Most rap artists, for instance, use the genre to display rage and domestic violence. This is usually not favorable for most people. However, what I respect about the Gorillaz is that they use the rap genre to enhance their music through another spectrum, without following the norm of violence.
