He didn’t mention the blow back to western banks if that $300 billion is given to Ukraine. They would lose some of the incentives the world has to put their money with those banks. 0:53 ya, and those buffers got buffed; just because their economy lasted while they pulled down on the rainy day fund - it doesn't mean they can go on once those savings run dry
Raising interest rates at his point will be nothing but a pro-forma move which will have virtually no beneficial effect on the ruble. As of yesterday, Putin said that Russia will de-list their currency (which apparently means that they won’t have to report financial stats to the IMF.) I’m no economist but the ruble should drop like a rock. Meanwhile, Ukraine is closing the gas pipeline feeding Austria as of Jan 1, so there goes that income. In short, anyone buying or investing in rubles now is just looking to lose money hand over fist.
if this even remotely true he has no room for negotiations.. he must leave Ukraine crimea included and probable turn himself into the Hague for execution.. that will never happen so it will be escalated to nuclear war
Agreed - except the last part which I think is overly pessimistic. It's possible, but I think, and hope, very unlikely. If Putin precipitates a nuclear conflict he'll either be killed in the conflict like thousands of others, or he'll be killed when he emerges from his bunker; no one can tolerate a sociopath who brings the world to destruction. So, either way he loses and loses big - so I don't think he'll do it.
There are numerous reasons why putin wont use nukes. A red line has been crossed literally every month of this conflict. The russian nuclear doctrine limits nuclear to acts that compromises the russian power structure. India and china have explicitly told putin he cannot use nukes, the will isolate from russia. Nuking a neighbour would be suicide as the fall out blows back over your country. Nuking another nuclear power will result in assured mutual destruction. Their last icbm test launch failed as it blew up in the launch mount. they would likely have to launch smaller nukes from a sub which are easy to shoot down.
This is all interesting speculation, but we’re not seeing any of it playing out in reality. There are not runs on the Russian banks; people are not queueing up in the streets of Moscow and St Petersburg. Russians are undoubtedly suffering the effects of inflation (more so than the rest of the world), but Putin has done such a good job of preventing the populace from assembling or protesting that there does not seem any realistic chance of any serious instability.
RUSSIA has chased France from Mali, burkina faso, Niger. And these 3 countries are producers of gold and urnium. So Putin is getting gold from mali, niger, burkina faso. SO IT WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR THE ECONOMY TO COLLAPSE.
Russian economy is 90% domestic consumption. International exchange rate has no effect on it. And it's international currency is gold and oil, not ruble. These people mislead those who don't understand...

This channel reminds me of Pravda. Another report and another clueless expert. My concern is that It might persuade the clueless British establishment that war with Russia is winnable. I still have investments in the UK and need the country to survive and not get into a war it can't win. Britain is run by idiots and this channel doesn't help. The IMF is forecasting that the Russian will grow at 3.6% in 2024. It is one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies outside of India and China,.That is not a country collapsing. The World Bank's International Comparison Program (ICP), confirmed in June that Russia had overtaken Germany and Japan to become the wor;d's fourth-largest economy using the PPP method of GDP calculation. The exchange rate is almost irrelevant, it reflects low oil prices. Russia is able to sell the oil it produces.

The Times post five of these "Putin is about to lose" videos each day and have done for months. Yet sadly none of it ever comes to fruition... Clickbait.
Putin lost a long time ago, the question was not whether he would lose.. but rather when, and by how much.
Very true - it is comparable to Kremlin threats, warnings and ultimatums - there is a constant stream of them daily.
@@paulhadlington8179 It was also a question of if he was intelligent enough to realise it. His ego proved to be predictable and his intelligence below average.
um. You understand the impact of 21% interest rates and double-digit inflation for years? Everybody said Russian crunch-time would be in 2025 once inventories are exhausted. And if right on time....
@@paulhadlington8179 Ok banderite apologist. :))
Title is blatant clickbait. He hasn't been forced to the table YET.
And won't be. Russia will toss the unconditional surrender documents onto the table and tell the Ukrainian's where to sign.
@jantzfitzgerald6115 Hahahaha😂😂
No it is not clickbait. It is Times Radio

'two more weeks to flatten the curve' never forget what these talking heads have done to us.
From the fly you make an elephant. The Rusi have been learned to poverty, and nothing to anyone. They are not 80 'when the USSR has been economically collapsed
Economics concerns will not force Putin to negotiate! Economic concerns did not force Castro, Venezuela's Medora or the junta in Myanmar and it will not force Putin! Military might is the only factor respected by dictators. A heavily armed, advancing Ukraine is the only factor that will drive Putin's Russia to a withdrawal!
I found out that Google or Utube, will not not people to post any negitive comments about Russia, i hope Trumpt will change that soon!
The man who believes putain over his own secret service? Wow.
He wants Russia to be more like North Korea.
Yes, and it may well end up like that.
I think UK is slowly getting this way.
i hate it when "europe" is clumped together. just because south western europe isn't pulling their weight with supporting ukraine or their own militaries, doesn't mean we in the north east aren't. we most certainly are, some way more than the US, and most way more than the european average. also recently, at least before the election, europe has supported ukraine more than the US 💁
He didn’t mention the blow back to western banks if that $300 billion is given to Ukraine. They would lose some of the incentives the world has to put their money with those banks. If it were as easy as he implies they would have done it already.
On the other hand as he says, defeating Russia in Ukraine is far and away the cheapest way to ensure Europe’s defence. Is the tradeoff worth it!
0:53 ya, and those buffers got buffed; just because their economy lasted while they pulled down on the rainy day fund - it doesn't mean they can go on once those savings run dry
BS
Raising interest rates at his point will be nothing but a pro-forma move which will have virtually no beneficial effect on the ruble. As of yesterday, Putin said that Russia will de-list their currency (which apparently means that they won’t have to report financial stats to the IMF.) I’m no economist but the ruble should drop like a rock. Meanwhile, Ukraine is closing the gas pipeline feeding Austria as of Jan 1, so there goes that income.
In short, anyone buying or investing in rubles now is just looking to lose money hand over fist.
You’ve been saying this since 2022.
Have a nice Thanksgiving Day y'all!
Who will cry if the Sterling crashes?
Yeah, whatever Ivan. 😂😂😂
Putin is looking shaky 😂
Been like that for the last 20 years 😂
@@davidjones-wt2qqand still there.. 😂
No, it doesn't. Times Radio still in major cope mode, I see 😂
Yep. It's a comedy.
if this even remotely true he has no room for negotiations.. he must leave Ukraine crimea included and probable turn himself into the Hague for execution.. that will never happen so it will be escalated to nuclear war
Their last icbm test launch failed as it blew up in the launch mount. they would likely have to launch smaller nukes from a sub which are easy to shoot down.
i'll believe when i see it.
Same as the Western leaders have done for twenty five years .. 'wishing and hoping' .. they will never get serious ..

This is hilarious which Russian money are you really talking about 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Weird how things change round
Thanks to Land Lease massive aid and the allies opening a second front. Until then they couldn't run fast enough.

NATO blabla NATO and excuses , NATO No Action Talks Only ....... spare my time , Slava Ukraini from Vienne /Autriche
Russian economy is 90% domestic consumption. International exchange rate has no effect on it.
And it's international currency is gold and oil, not ruble.
These people mislead those who don't understand...
Exactly, they are lying
Yes you are right but most people who watch this have no clue... can't trust an expert who has a garlic burp at start of his report 0:38 .! sets his camera so he looks down on you while you are forced to look up his nostrils, and who hastily put one shirt over another "green one" for the camera... he is gaslighting us into thinking Russia is "losing" ... the truth is quite different,,
My friend, let us laugh together at the lies against Russia.
So why is the 'official' inflation rate 21% then?
😀😀 Russians hardly produce anything. There is shockingly little ability to produce even simple products, let alone more advanced complex machines, etc.
The reality is the missle Russia dropped destroyed 2 square miles that why they at the negotiating table
Times Radio is my go to now for Ukraine-Russia news. You all are the only ones giving the full honest picture!
🤣😅😄😀
Twisted and perverse statement. Cartoonish nonsense.
What fantasy world is this. lol
Putin, Xi Jinping and Trump have a lot in common. ☹️😥😡
Great leaders
Russian economy and military industrial complex production are an all time high, thanks NATO and western alliance for making Russia great again!
Forced to negotaite is what Ukraine now has to do as it is losing the war, but this can't be admitted by Western 'experts' to Western populations and so they have to 'flipped' it to Putin having to negotiate. Much coping going on here. BTW, how old is this interviewer? Did she graduate last year? So naive.
So True.
Putins conditions for negotiations are unrealistic and ukraine will never capitulate. It takes 2 to negotiate. both have made clear their negotiating stance and they are worlds apart.
On what planet or alternate reality is Times Radio On.
The fact that all the Russian trolls like you feel compelled to jump on Times Radio posts says it all for me
Not this planet for sure.

Yes, thank god some common sense here!!!
The euro dropped about the same amount
This is nursery school propaganda. Utter tripe.
Russia's economy is based on the war.
The ruble has dropped. They have high interest rates and high inflation.
Basically, Russia went down the toilet with this war.
Who's at the negotiating table? Sorry not seeing it 🤷🏻♂️
