Me and my son just downloaded this, I love Stalker but it's a bit to intense to play around my son. StalCraft is a perfect bridge as my son loves Minecraft. Going to start a playthrough and see how it goes.

It’s pretty good, I got about 25 hours in and I’m liking it. Some issues with the base locations and anomaly spawns but overall I only had a few major gripes with it and it’s clearly a passion project.

37:03 Apparently, a gun fits in the pistol slot if it meets two conditions: short barrel(s) + absence of a stock. That makes sense. It always bothered me that the sawed-off TOZ-66 in ShoC and Clear Sky didn't fit in your pistol slot. Short barrels, sure, but it might as well have kept its stock (like a "rabbit-ear" sidelock version of Ash's sawed-off hammerless boxlock double-barrel in Evil Dead 2 which was a Stevens 311). Some mods for Anomaly make sawed-off shotguns able to fit in slot-1, giving the player more of an incentive to choose a sawed-off despite other options being available.
This game is glorious. I started playing the moment it released on EU. All of it is just 11/10. Ah, one more thing Fisk. Look out for ur stalker butt couse this bandit right here is out on the prowl. Good luck surviving the zone lad!
Well we know it's definitely not a 1:1 of STALKER just from the first 5 minutes of game play. Like 11% health lost from 1-2 hits from what looked like military grade smgs/assault rifles, in STALKER, you'd have like 12hp and 3 seconds to live before you bleed out. Maybe a little more since he had the exosuit, but even those don't make you THAT tanky.
Every immersive game should have multiplayer. I know Bethesda said MP would mess up the quest line in Skyrim. But when we are playing MP we dont care about "the chosen one". Both can be dragonborn. No story has to change, no dialog has to change. Just let me play with my friends.

This mod was there for a while, i played it back in 2019 and its still good, some quests are pretty challenging if you mess up at some points, but overall, it's just Stalker with blocky visuals. And its awesome.

Man it's too bad the hype for this game from those that do play it will most likely get blown away come the 31st due to Stalker 2 being released (of which I am excited to play) I have just recently a few days ago gotten into Stalker Anomaly GAMMA modpack and have been enjoying it a bunch... I love the Progression change in Gamma from vanilla Anomaly... I haven't seen your channel before but I will have to check out your Stalker videos to see all of what you have been up to! Great video!

the OG stalker games did have multiplayer yet sadly it was much more of the standard deathmatch/team deathmatch kind of deal but I hope the upcoming Stalker 2 while give is the option for Co-op play even if its just only 2 players teaming up.

have a couple hours n this game and its pretty fun playing stalker with other people online, wish their were more online stalker stuff(new to these game so idk if there is actually).
stalcraft is really fun, but some mechanics/things make me want to jump off a cliff, like the runs you have to do because theres no faster way to get to places that isnt holding down shift and w for 5+ minutes straight

the game itself its good but the player base sucks because everyone camps at the main story spots and you cant do your quests because of them constantly camping and killing you. So basically you cant advance further only if you have an iron will and indomitable human spirit so to those who just started the game you have all my best wishes
