We Pakistani's and Indian's always compare our countries beautiful natural areas with Switzerland but the truth is We people are far behind from Swizz people. they love their land more than anyone. Whenever we watch Switzerland,there are lot of facilities available for the tourists and roads and train tracks are properly build and hotel facilities are available even at the top of the mountains.then how can We compare Switzerland with our land
Open for suggestions- I'm traveling to Srinagar after two days from Delhi.!! Shall I need to carry jackets or winter clothes too..?? Also any place which I must visit in Srinagar..?
Thank you! Only in Summers the trek would be possible which is in the months of June July and August. Rest of the year pony ride is recommended! Also depending on your fitness level, if you have the right equipments you can try hiring a guide. However during winter they would suggest the pony ride instead!
March is a wonderful time to visit! Even tulips will bloom . Yes, you will need the pony then! Because March sometimes there's snowfall as well. Baisaran point alone is around 12 km trek total

It is not recommended to trek there without proper equipments! Which we were not informed of either. The guides that took us there said they didn't carry the snow equipments because there was no snow in the lower areas. I'm glad that you enjoyed and got a chance to see the lake! We truly missed it
Unfortunately, The best and ideal time would be in summer that is after May! But this is only if you're going to trek. If you're planning to take the pony like we did, it's better to ask when did they themselves go to Tulian last. Since it's at high altitude you can't predict the weather near the lake until you get closer

Jackets you must! Cause it might rain sometimes but winter clothes are not needed 😁 Both Nigeen Lake, Dal lake is a must visit!
