No, the were all watching some tripe on the main stages. This was T In The Park where a large part of the audience go to get obnoxiously dunk and loaded, even more so than other festivals in my experience.
Check out the amazing LCD Soundsystem show from the same festival. Brilliant show, minimal attendance. I'd rather be at these shows where the people are there to actually witness good music by amazing musicians, and Budgie, for fucks sake! Wiki Budgie.
I went to see Efterklang and John Grant was the support. Front row seat. I got there late and saw just one John Grant song. I couldn't focus on Efterklang after that, so upset about missing JG. Budgie played for Efterklang that night coincidentally
Jeez, where were the audience? One of the greatest male vocals of our time, a great songwriter and performer. Were they all queuing for the bogs?
