It's because it is not Queen 👑
Mr Bad Guy is a black and white record: his vocals are perfect but the arrangement of most of the songs is bad and rough in sound. This version of Your Kind Of Lover was remixed after his death and was present in The Freddie Mercury Album, a collection of solo songs of 1992... And it's the only song of Mr Bad Guy I prefer in the original version, with the piano in evidence. The other songs contained in both the albums: Living On My Own, Mr Bad Guy, Fooling Around and Let's Turn It On are way better in their remixed versions
So Freddie. His personality he captures perfectly in his music. Really wish he was alive one of best musicians with greatest legacies
he had a very underrated solo album.

Really, really would've preferred the original version. This remix is passable, but it doesn't have all the energy and contrast and personality of the original. Good to see it up, but could we see the original version posted too?

Aunque también está en el que mencionas y en The Solo Collection 2000, sí es del álbum Mr Bad Guy, de hecho es la quinta canción del disco y cierra el lado A de la versión en vinilo. Existen otras versiones como la Messenger of the Gods 2016, Lover of Life, Singer of Songs 2006, y Never Boring 2019.
I bet I'm the only one who would call this song a sequel to ogre battle. Like she blows Hot and Cold is a sequel to Killer Queen with both being autobiographical in nature
