Very nice work Corin. The tree is looking really good and I'm looking forward to seeing it repotted with the new angle. Thanks for yet another great video.
It’s absolutely amazing how different that tree looks now, I love the follow up of these trees nearly a much as I do seeing what miniature tool you pull out the bag to be able to continue your excellent work, can’t wait to see it in its new pot as it continues it’s journey 😜
It really looks great. Removing the cut off branches made a big difference in the look of the movement of the trunk. Transformation is coming along nicely. I will enjoy watching future videos on this tree.
Thanks for patiently explaining the reasons for choosing certain artistic elements in the bonsai design and also showing what tools can be used to execute on them. Great job with Parts 1 and 2 of this Hinoki bonsai project! Cheers!
I'd be happy to have a Bonsai with such amazing structure . Very clean look. Quintessential appearance. Nice work. Would love to see more of your projects. Anything you come up with would be enjoyable. Take care
I really appreciate the way you explain how you work on this hinoki. I learn a lot from it. It would be great to see you work on a yew tree. I have a few and am curious on your thoughts about pruning and shaping them. Thanks for posting this!
Thanks Corin, that's turning into a lovely Bonsai. You were asking for ideas - I bought an Antarctic Beech from Greenwood about 6 years ago. There seems to be precious little on the net about looking after these as Bonsai, so if you could spare a few minutes on this it would be much appreciated. Thank you again for the videos.
yes, they are quite rare, I have a specimen one I might do some work on in spring when I re-pot it. If so i'll make sure to video the process and the tree.
I agree with the people who like the follow up videos! Your presentation is spot on as is the camera work (love watching over your shoulder) I am interested in learning more about the particular tools your using. Would love to know more about the mini chain saw, carving tools, and even your day to day shears and such (I’m looking to purchase the Ryuga rs shears you seem to have gravitated to) I purchased the green handle cutters you said would be a favorite and you were spot on, now please tell more about the others. Thanks in advance, and I was fortunate to find a copy of your father”s book recently and have started reading it as well.
It's now aug.28th,22... I hope that you repot this soon and also involve pot selection like you did with your maple. That'd be fun!!! (I didnt see any repot of this in your vids so hope we didnt miss it!!!)
Great videos mate keep them coming. I have a nursery stock tree I have just started in January which is slowly turning into a bonsai, these videos are giving me ideas and vision for the future.
Hi Corin, yet again another enjoyable video , the tree is looking much sharper and defined. I am in no way knowledgeable in bonsai ,but could not see that the thin dead wood part branches gave anything to the composition, I am a little confused. Many thanks for your skill and time...
Hello Bob, these small Jins are often down to personal taste. If I don't find them too offensive I generally leave them on. As this tree is for sale they can always be reduced if not to the liking of new owner.
Could u tell us which attachments u used to do the different shaving? I have a Dremmel with every attachment they offer. I just don't want to use something that may potentially harm my trees.
Great work corrin den😊
Best example of setting up a gide wire
WOW! A fabulous job, Massive improvement!, Can't wait to see it after repotting 👍😎😎😎
That is a beautiful tree. 😊 Let's see you work on a redwood.

What a great re-design and carving example. It is beautiful. I’m inspired to do something similar to one of our Hinoki Cypress trees.
I really appreciate the way you explain how you work on this hinoki. I learn a lot from it. It would be great to see you work on a yew tree. I have a few and am curious on your thoughts about pruning and shaping them. Thanks for posting this!
Corin's thoughts on Yew would indeed be of interest

Greetings from Mexico, if you could upload ulmus videos, your videos are very interesting and very explicit, thank you
I'm glad the tree is well behaved, it would be a shock if it wasn't!
Good eye good improvement 👍👍🇵🇷
Best bonsai channel on youtube! I love hinokis. Not sure if you guys do any propagation but I'd be interested in a video about that.
Thanks🤝
rudeboy-esque music kept me

Mini chain saw for a mini tree🌳🐉🐲
Hey Corin, what do you think about front side on 15:40 (pause video)? Main trunk have nice movement and second trunk gives depth :)
Movement in main trunk is less and top and crown are out of balance. Especially when you see the tree in real life.
@@greenwoodbonsaistudio oke, ty for reply. Keep doing great videos im learning a lot from you. Greetings from Croatia
Nice good jop.
Nice sir
At first glance I thought you were Robert Oberst the American, worlds strongest man, athlete you're like twins 😊
Do you ever remove/clean the old bark off the live wood?
Could u tell us which attachments u used to do the different shaving? I have a Dremmel with every attachment they offer. I just don't want to use something that may potentially harm my trees.
What spices of Hinoiki is this ?
How old is that tree sir? Your educated guess
How old is this bonsai
I'd say around 30-35 yrs
