Good thing I saw this vid. I ordered this piano and am waiting on the delivery, didn't know it would need to be assembled (I looked at several online shops before buying, and NONE mention that it comes unassembled)
Same with me. I'm waiting on delivery. Just found out today I have to assemble. This video helps. It's mainly assembling the stand and then placing the piano with obvious hookups. With all the online comparison shopping and reviews no one mentioned the need to assemble.
Thanks a lot man for this tutorial. By using it I was able to mount the piano without even opening the manual. I made it in 40 minutes while my kids were sleeping at 1 am in the night. I owe you a bottle of wine. Just let me know if you come to Romania sometimes :)
Emaz only one thing is a bit under my expectations. It is not very loud. I would expect a bit louder. If you play in a big living room it's possible that you would like to turn the volume a bit up but you notice that it's at the end...
Thank you so much for this. My piano's arriving soon and I'm rubbish at assembling things so I hope this helps me avoid the usual disasters. Only one thing, unless I'm completely losing my spatial marbles, it's not 43.5cm deep like Kawai say on their website, is it? Doesn't look it in the video anyway. Looks barely longer than a sheet of A4. Little bit sad about that because I went by Kawai's measurements and deliberately chose the CN39 over the CA97 because I had a really tight space to squeeze one corner of it into and now it looks like I could probably have fit the '97 in there after all. Moral: go to the showroom in person with your tape measure. 😬
So, when I bought the piano, for me the volume seemed too low. Now I don't know what happened but suddenly it sounds way louder. I even reset it to the factory default and it's still louder. So I am glad about this but this is really strange. Do you encounter the same bahaviour?
FLAVVIUSS.........IM THINKING OF BUYING A NEW PIANO. AT PRESENT I HAVE A KORG SP280 I THINK THE MODEL NUMBER IS AND I DONT LIKE IT. THE NOTES NOW SOUND CLICKY AND SOME BLACK NOTES ARE REAL LOUD. IVE GOT MY EYE ON THE CN27 BECAUSE ITS SO LOUD IN THE DEMO WHERE THE BLONDE LADY CALLED HEATHER PLAYS IT. I LIKE THAT. I LIKE A PIANO WITH A LOT OF VOLUME AND POWER. ITS GOOD YOUR PIANO ALTERED AND WENT FROM A LOW VOLUME TO LOUD. I HAVE TO MAKE UP MY MIND WHICH PIANO I WILL GET BUT IM NOT SURE IF I CAN GET TO A PIANO STORE AS I LIVE WAY OUT IN THE STICKS. BUT I SHOULD SOMEHOW GET TO ONE SO I CAN TRY THE PIANOS OUT. I WANT ONE OF THE CN PIANOS OR THE CA PIANOS OR EVEN THE ES08 KAWAI. YES ALL KAWAI PIANOS THEY ARE. I JUST LOVE HOW THE CN27 SOUNDS THOUGH SO I ASSUME THE LATER MODELS OF THAT PIANO WOULD BE JUST AS GOOD. I HOPE SO.
@@zennabella1676 Hi there. I totaly recommend the Kawai brand. I have the Cn39, but all the Kawai models are great. Great sound, great feel. Also about the volume, I was mistakin' . It depends about your mood and the type of piano that you choose from the list.
Thanks so much for this helpful video. I enjoyed watching the assembly and dreaming of a new Kawai digital piano, which will probably be the MP7SE. I am inspired to build a wooden piano cabinet for it similar to the one in your video. Best wishes from the USA, Jerry.
Do I have to use an electric drill? I’m at uni accommodation, annnnd I don’t own a drill and neither do any of my roommates, because none of us thought to bring one to uni 😭😭 although we do have a screwdriver 🥲
The CN-series is the little brother series; it has plastic keys (Responsive Hammer III) where the CA-series has wooden keys (Grand Feel compact or Grand feel III) The speakers are smaller or different placed compared to the CA-series and you also get at different sound source (from the CA-59 and upwards). On the CA-99 you also get a soundboard like the one you have on the acoustic upright pianos, which works as an amplifier just like on the acoustic pianos. Overall the looks, feels and sound increases a bit every time you take a jump up the ladder :)
Big mistake in assembling furniture with an electric drill is that it’s so easy to strip out your wood. You never do it, it’s better to manually screw in your screws

(I will ask the site how it will arrive, they're usually quick to answer)

Depending from where you buy to assemble costs from £120 to £250 when is delivered
Loved this. Thank you for taking so much care to make everything clear!
Thank you so much for this video!!!!! without it I would have struggled so much to assemble the piano, as there is no real instruction for that!!!!!
Hi! - Great to hear 💪🎵🎹
There is literal instructions for that in the back of the manual
Thank you for this video. I am unboxing my new CN39 today, and I feel really good about the assembly after your video. Thanks!!!!
i lost my adapter for this piano, can you check the output specifications on your piano adapter so i can buy a new one

Does it almost feel like a real piano?
Emaz yes. My mother is a piano teacher. She said that it is really nice and it feels real.
flavviuss Okey nice, i’m going to buy a cn39 now on friday😁

flavviuss I’m going to have it in a small room, do you think it’s enough for a little room
Thanks for the vdo. It really helped me with the assembly of the piano
You are welcome
Do this piano comes with a bench also
yes. When I bought my CN39, a bench came with it.

Which one is the best ? Yamaha clp 635 or Kawai CN39
CN 39 obs
Cn39
Are you able to use a single sustain pedal for this model piano? Impossible to find pedals!
Hi, greetings. I’m confused between Yamaha clp 635 and Kawai cn39. Which one do you think is better?
I'm also facing similar dilemma as you. Undecided between the CN39 or CLP-745

Hello, is it possible just to set up this piano with just a screw driver instead of power tools?
Yes, most definately 🎹🪛
Is there a bench inside the box?
Hi Sean
No, there is not a bench inside.
@@Digitalpianocom Thank you very much!

Is this CN39 enough to prepare for a diploma level of classical piano music exam????
Can I record an audio file in a USB flash drive for CN39?
Merci beaucoup 👍
Surprised about the chipboard cabinet!
very nice vid. ty for sharing.
hey my friend, what are the dimensions of the packaging?
Hi there
155cm x 64cm 47cm and 72
kg.

Hi! A screwdriver can also do the job - we're just being lazy :)
@@Digitalpianocom Thankyou so much! I was super worried haha :)
magnifique! comment s'applle le morceau que vous avez joué?
I don't know why I didn't think this would flat pack furniture, we've already had some put together for us for our kids.

Bench/stool not include?

not really
It has a clutch which limits torque.
This guy must be a piano tuner.
whats the song at 17:36?
Hi Emaz
That one of my own pieces,
BR
@@Digitalpianocom It was very beautiful
Hello there! Is the assemby process of CN29 similar to this or is it way different?
Hi Konstantions
Yes, the assembly process is very much alike on most digital pianos. :-)
why not a ornamental finish between the 2 parts? .. this looks cheap...
😆
Really!? 🙄
