Mamerki, Mauerwald, Hitler's Wolfsschanze

Mamerki,(Mauerwald) a few kilometres away from the „Wolfsschanze“ (Wolf’s Liar) the “Bunker” are undestroyed.
There was no time in 1945 to destroy them too. I wonder how long one can visit all the bunkers from the outside and from the inside without restrictions.
Ein riesengrosses Gelände mit meist unversehrten Bunkern sind wenige Kilometer von der Wolfschanze entfernt zu besichtigen.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich im Frühling, wenn das Laub der Bäume nicht zu viel verdeckt.
Unweit von Mamerki befinden sich die Schleusenreste vom nie fertiggestellten Masurischen Kanal.

How spooky it must be to walk around there. I would love to see all this history especially since my father spent 4 years in Europe in WW2.
