Thing is, most don't understand. A person has to have some degree of engineering for this, the train is traversing on the track and the bridges have to hold it up. Very well done indeed!!
Most of these wooden tressels are designed and blue printed so that individuals with common sense modeling skill can also construct them and not need engineering skills. My uncle built one in O scale and he didn't have general engineering skills, just common building skills and modeling skills.
I think it’s the other way around. You don’t understand that people really don’t need any sort of degree for this stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was built by people who didn’t know anything about structural engineering. You don’t need to have any of those skills to build something like this. Just common sense and some damn good scenery skills.
Excellent layout! Great videography! Make a copy with the layout sounds, but without the distracting music (at least it wasn't stereotypical banjo chase music).
Magnificent Layout 😊!
WOW, need I say anything more ! Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.

5-1/2 years with a team of volunteers to build it.

Very impressive trains, scenery and track. I appreciate that you did not jerk the camera around and kept the camera in place.
Thank you!!!
You should get a small camera with a small lens so that the video will look more true to scale. It could improve the production value way up.
Thought it was a video game in the beginning
