As a person who works in the front desk of a hotel, I highly recommend just what you said Josie! :-) The best way to go about it is to be nice and polite, and the person behind the desk will always try to do everything for you. If you are rude, angry or just heving a bad day, it will not get you anywhere :-) Love your videos as always

This is a very late comment as I’ve just realised that this video is 2 years old! I’m not going to lie, when it popped up in suggested videos, I thought “Oh another skinny blonde RUclipsr” - well I continued watching and I must apologise for judging you. You are friendly and polite, and beautiful because beneath your skin that is exactly who you are. You taught me a lesson about myself! You are absolutely right about always being nice to people and always being polite - it absolutely does change the world and we also receive the added benefit in that we feel good about ourselves. Great video! As someone who used to work at hotel’s reception, I can say that your advice to be friendly to the staff is the best. Sadly most of people demand for things and sometimes even start shouting at the staff if they don’t get for example an early arrival at 7am.
You just get prettier and prettier every time I watch you. And thank you for all those wonderful tips. I will definitely use them the next time I travel :)
This video was very helpful! I never thought to take photos of outfits, that will save me so much space the next time I travel as I'm one of those people that would pack 2 to 3 times as many clothes and shoes for "just in case" purposes.

The tip about "high-low" approach to vacation housing was a new approach I had not considered, but I do wish there were more financial and real life examples used for reference with items as the "upgrading" of same-day seats or going to XYZ place for a weekend trip on $1,000 budget.

I've never flown before because of anxiety and flying phobia, so my travel has been limited to US and Canada, sadly. Thanks for sharing your travel videos. Also a good tip, if you are traveling with just hand luggage, buy most of your toiletries when you get there, often they work out cheaper, especially suntan lotion. 😊😄 x
All great tips, as an ex airline worker I will add dress nice when flying and be very nice, many times I would have upgraded nice people but they were not dress well, avoid flip flops, pants with wholes, workout cloth.

Cristina Magurean, I’ve had family and friends tell me I should do it but my confidence isn’t the best. I’m a cancer patient who has had 2 bone marrow transplants and they have definitely taken a toll on me. I was blessed with good genes and was a model when I was younger. So it’s been very hard for me to accept what it’s done to me. I think that’s why I watch these young girls. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one in my 50’s watching these girls 20-25 years younger than me. I would love to know who this woman in her 70’s is. My family and friend tell me to do a channel and bring my cancer journey into beauty/fashion. I just need the confidence that people would be interested in that. Thank you for your encouraging words. So True! I loved all of your tips, a few I had not tried before but being a part of a rewards program is definitely a money saver for “free” flights, hotels and other items, Hilton even offers the use of points on Amazon! As usual, this was a great blog- so inspiring and I would tell any one who watches- get out there and see the world. My tip to add would be to travel destinations less traveled. In the US, there are a lot of small charming cities and beaches to hit as well as mountainous regions. Don’t be afraid to travel “outside the box”, Happy Travelling! ✈️ 🌎 ❤️

By the way I am so suprised that still so many women shave. I have used an epilator for all my arears for about 30 years now and I love it. Cannot imagine to have to shave every day.

Off to Orlando 30th September for two weeks this will be our third time together! My tip is check a holiday package isn’t cheaper than booking separately we have booked with Thomas cook for a package and it was cheaper than booking flights and hotels we are going to book a couple of nights away in other areas too but will keep the package hotel as “Home” for the two weeks

What about when the forecast is wrong? I worry about not packing a rain coat & appropriate footwear and then it rains! It’s happened to me and it’s frustrating to say the least.
