Excellent computer advice. Many years ago, I realized that estimating the load on typical home computers gives the user a great amount of intuition as to whether or not you are getting hacked and hijacked. This discussion points to what is probably the only good method of defending these systems, some of which should just be turned off by force. The policy suggestions are also rational.
