  • On 3 July 1988, during the Iran-Iraq War, the USS Vincennes launches missiles that bring down Iran Air Flight 655, killing all 290 people on board. The crew of the Vincennes claimed that they mistook the airliner for an Iranian Air Force Grumman F-14 Tomcat fighter, but Iran believes that the US deliberately shot it down.

It’s deeper than u can imagine the year before in 1987 the USS stark was bombed by an Iraqi fighter plane disguised as a luxury business jet. Over 37 American sailors were killed and the captain of the USS Vincennes didn’t want his ship to suffer the same fate…unfortunately the Vincennes blew up an actual airliner which I believe led to the Lockerbie bombing by Iran/Libya as retaliation (America bombed Libya a few years before after a terrorist attack at German nightclub frequented by American servicemen and Iran definitely wanted to even the score against the U.S after Iran 655 was shot down.)

What is insane is that it is ok to be forced to ask for and pay for permission to travel and live anywhere we want to in gods all natural green earth for free, and without permission. The truth is the whole entire earth and everything within it belongs to every man woman and child equally, for free, no strings attached. Rightfully and lawfully, our creators are the only ones each of us has to answer to.
But as foretold , ju-rome in disguise called christendom, through the civy lies nations and religions, stole the whole entire earth and enslaved the world. AND THE EVIDENT AND OBVIOUS FACT IS, IF IT WERNT FOR THE GOVS, WOULDN BE NONE OF THESE KINDS OF FIASCOS IN THE VIDEO, AND NO WAR NOR CRIME NOR SIKNESS EITHER.
Take a lesson from the real 'mericans back in the day. Those folks had never been lied to, never been cheated, never had anything stolen from, never had any murderers runnin round, and they also had never been sik with so much as a cold. Until the civy lies nations showed up and began torturing and murdering/exterminating those folks and the escapees from the civy lies nations especially , and they made the tribes sik and killed off tribes that way, and they forced the rest of the real 'mericans into subjection, and stole all of the land that belongs to all of us wqually.
The real 'mericans knew that and that is how they lived, completely free and freely, answering only to our creators. And that is a fact.
Wernt for the govs of the civy lies nations, wouldn be no crime nor senseless death, nor sikness, nor war, and the earth wouldn't be destroyed and wed all be completely free and never have to ask anyones permision, wouldn have to work slave jobs, and would never do without natural food and pure clean water.
The civy lies nations have destroyed the whole entire earth and everything within it - even the earth itself is sik and dying now. That is what is insane. But noone ever accused them devil satans of being anything less than evil destroyers of everything that is good, right, fair, and just.

There is an important detail that always gets left out of any of these shows, regarding this incident. You can’t actually talk about the USS Vincennes incident without also talking about the USS Stark that happened a few months prior. The Stark was in almost the same place facing a very similar decision path. They were tracking a civilian airliner operating in a manner that raised concerns. It turned out Iraq had taken a Dassault Business jet, and modified it with the targeting radar from a fighter bomber. It was using a civilian transponder, identifying as a civilian aircraft, and carrying two French built Exocet Missiles. Those missiles were fired at and struck the Stark, nearly sinking the ship and killing a large number of US sailors. When you put the two incidents together you gain a bit more context regarding why the Vincennes fired.

@@andrewtaylor940 It is interesting that there is always a truckload of excuses orbiting the comments when the US of A gets caught in the act.
Be honest, not one of the true facts you are citing would be the slightest help if the USS Vincennes crew WOULD HAVE to face a US tribunal (they did not have to which is in itself a clear statement):
      1) they had the means to investigate and know what was up there. The US had planes in the air, several ships in the surrounding, access to radar data of several high tech radar sets all over the place, land, sea and airborne.
      2) they had a perfectly correct squawk-code, as a matter of fact they had to manually label the Mode III beacon as a F14 to make it appear "hostile" on their own radar.
      3) in fact, they had all the most advanced sensors and technology a AEGIS cruiser does dispose of.... YET, they where so eager to live their gunslinger fantasy that they even INVENTED a non existant flightpath AGAINST the reality shown on their proper screens.
      4) it is the US of A that made sure with it's embargo that Iran had no access to Exocet missiles or any technology making an Iranian Airplane able to copy the strike Irak had been pulling off..... and I would suppose that the United States Navy was in a perfect position to KNOW this fact for they have a thing called intelligence and risk assessment.
      5) Other fact is that USS Vincennes went AGAINST their own standing orders, ending up in a place they where NOT supposed to be, doing things no human being with self respect would be able to live with
      6) AND, last fact, got promotions, medals and recommendations for this act of savagery. NO civilized Democracy would reward a captain after he caused the death of 290 civilians.
You would would not stand the slightest chance with this line of defense facing a regular US tribunal @Andrew Taylor - and you know it!

      2. Prior incident was by Iraq not Iran who attacked the American ship, Ironic how the Americans kept supporting Iraq in the war after that incident.
It is baffling how you people try to excuse horrific acts based on fallacies and your own arrogance.

@@andrewtaylor940 Vincennes initiated the battle by crossing into Iranian territorial waters and shooting at Iranian Boghammars without being fired upon first, all based on an still unverified claimed that its chopper was "fired at". Not only that, the reckless and unprofessional behavior of the crew who couldn't recognize that a slow, ascending aircraft, in the middle of a passenger flight corridor, did not demonstrate any of the flight profiles of Iranians F-14 (a pure air superiority fighter), none of which were equipped for surface warfare to begin with at that time.
This was a f*** up in any context. Iranians did get the message though, if you don't want this to happen, make sure you have enough anti-ship cruise and ballistic missiles stationed onshore to deter any hotheads from seeking glory at your expense. This time around when Trump initiated a fight by killing their General, they ended it with ballistic missile attacks on Al-Assad.
