I'm gonna rant for a sec: I'm a petite person, too. 4'11" and barely 100 lbs. It's incredibly hard to find clothes that fit, and pants that aren't about 1000 feet longer than they should be! You're right about the very few places that cater to petites (nevermind an actual store dedicated to them; there's no stores near me that are dedicated to just petites anymore and haven't been for more than a decade); normally it's geared towards older women. Most stores also now have vanity sizes to the extreme: an xs is way bigger than it should be and most places don't carry xxs, especially not in store. "Youre thin! Stores cater to you!" People who say that are delusional in America nowadays. Stores will cater to the majority, because they are a business and wish to make money. The majority isn't really short and thin in the States.
If something is sold out now you may still be able to get it during the sale. When someone returns an item in store, Nordstrom will restock it online as well. I’ve been able to get a few items I wanted that were sold out by checking the site frequently!

You look great in all of them, especially the leopard dress youre wearing.i actually just received post of a t shirt made of modal for the first time and I couldnt agree with you more that its SOOOOOOO soft and SOOOOOOO comfy. Gonna look for modal pjs now 😂😂 Please do a second video. Would love to see it❤️
While I totally appreciate influencers helping us through the sale Nordstrom has made the Anniversary sale increasingly difficult to enjoy. This is something you need to strategize for and get a Nordstrom account ! There will be little to no stock left for those who DO NOT have a card; and this is on purpose because restock occurs in these teeny tiny waves that increase during the early to mid August weeks. Don't believe me ? Well I have been checking in on items and this is ALWAYS the case. I love Jen and dammm a 00 Girl shoot you are goals! SO in short get the items now but good luck literally nothing is left its stressful and so I bow out ; Back in the early 2000s it was so easy to shop the sale but it became difficult for the public because of stocking concerns. I am a former employee but those days were a lot different. Anyway good luck I hope you all get the pieces and items you want!
I absolutely agree 1000% and also found it super stressful to shop the sale. I already do have a nordies card but didn’t have the SUPER early access like people who have spent $$$$ to reach that tier and that already left me with things I couldn’t buy too. I miss the old days when it felt less like a frenzy. I can’t always predict what will go out of stock but next year I’ll intentionally try to go for unseen items so it will hopefully still be available when it goes to public access. 🤞

Yeah, I’m a bit salty. Maybe y’all don’t need to get every single color in an item and Christmas gifts too for everyone and their mama. Let us regular folks have a chance too...lol!! 🤪😭 FYI, since no one can get a Barefoot Dreams cardigan, a cheaper option that is also super soft and comfy is the Gibson cardigan for $45.90. I snagged one in XS. For reference, I’m about 5’2” and weigh 102.
Correction: $43.90. Also, since no one get a BP camisole either, I found a cream color one very similar in style by Socialite in size XS for $20.98. I saw one BP cami in store, and it actually felt like cheaper quality than the Socialite one.
