- Heres my reasoning as to why the Roblox Jailbreak Torpedo isnt as great as everyone claims it to be.
But again this is just my opinion and my take on the car :)

Torpedo is one of my least favorite vehicles. I'm glad someone like you finally made a video regarding about why the Torpedo isn't as good as everyone thinks.

Ngl this guy is right however I still do really like the torpedo in not the type of person to be like “OHHH MY GOD ITS THE BEST CAR EVERGGGgsgsgzhhHhGgaya” but I still see your points and they are understandable i guess also a lot of people like the torpedo because they played when it first came out but yeah still great video as always vizzy!
100 percent agree. Just curious tho, what are your views on Arachnid? I don’t think it’s the best vehicle by any means, but I also love the design and don’t think it deserves the amount of hate it gets.
I thought it was great because of how big its design was making it easy for you to block roads, but ever since the shogun got the hyperdrive i haven’t really come back to the car

Torpedo does NOT make my list for top 5 best cars for grinding. My list would be:
1. Aperture
2. Roadster/Proto08 (they’re basically the same)
3. Beignet
4. Concept
5. Successor
Basically, better acceleration and handling equals better grinding, and because Torpedo doesn’t have as great acceleration or handling as these cars, it’s not really that good.
Fun fact: The Volt Bike is actually one of the slower vehicles in the game, top speed is 230. It’s only really alive because 1: second best acceleration , and 2: small hitbox.
A lot of the times hit boxes and acceleration is better than speed
most of the time acceleration is more important than speed. for grinding, volt bike is good because when transitioning between robberies and deliveries and stuff supercars generally wont be able to accelerate up to a speed that surpasses volt's easy to get to top speed.

Ngl i used this on the cop team it wasnt that bad, however i did use another account and arrested 60k worth of bounty with a camaro so its more skill than the car when you're playing as a cop
I like this car, especially with its design and the fact that it used to be really one of the best, on par with the old Bugati, I like it the most as a player who has been playing since 2018, even though it is not very good in terms of performance now

Jav beats torpedo every way statistically, including highest possible top speed to reach in the jailbreak map.
Torpedo technically has a higher top speed by 4-5 miles per hour I think, but it can’t be reached on the jailbreak map no matter what route you take
Therefore, javelin- which has all other better stats will ALWAYS beat torpedo in every conceivable way.
It’s acceleration is faster than torpedo’s
It’s highest speed on jb map is higher
It’s handling counter is set higher by shadowsamurai
It’s reverse speed and reverse acceleration are both better than torpedo
It’s looks are far better obviously, much more customization
Javelin is a cooler name
Basically you have no excuse to use torpedo unless you want to flex it, but I don’t care about flexing so I traded my torpedo away *twice,* and don’t regret it a bit.

Torpedo in Jailbreak is like a gold bar in real life.
Why am I comparing Torpedo to Gold?
Let's take a simple example:
One day you walked into a supermarket, you bought a few packages of snacks and gave the cashier a gold bar. Then what do you have? You can't buy anything with that gold bar. Although gold is valuable, it doesn't buy anything unless you sell it and get cash.
Same goes for Torpedo.
Torpedo only gets a high price (30M - lower than ICEBreaker) in Trade Island and its performance is really bad compared to other supercars like Javelin, Concept, Beignet, Celsior,...
And its design is unacceptable. I know it's an early Jailbreak car, but I would never trade my Crew Capsule for it. Or I will trade but then trade for another supercar even if the price is 30M lower
People that hate the torpedo are people who are broke and can’t afford nothing
That makes no sense. There are torpedos owners that dislike the torpedo because its not even a good car
He really said the “Shell Classic” is a good car, that car is not a good car at all, I don’t know why you even mentioned it, also I think this video was pointless, the Torpedo is a good car, yea sure theres better one out there but it doesn’t mean the Torpedo sucks, it all depends on personal preference and how good you actually are at driving, if you can controle the Torpedo or any other car at high speeds, your actually a good driver, im just tired of people hating on the Torpedo for no reason, and the Torpedo is a good car if your actually good at driving, it’s also a good car on the cop team, im just saying

It is a good car bro, yea there are better vehicles out there but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad car, and im not even a Torp fan im just saying cause I own it and I have driven it enough to know, and also considering it’s age, it still overthrows most vehicles from the modern era so there for its a good car if you know how to use it to its full potential

There is no reason to get the Torpedo anymore
Top speed?Brulee and Jetski are faster
Acceleration?Pretty much any other hypercar accelerates faster
Handling?Cars like Javelin and Beignet are way easier to handle
Reverse speed?It is good but Brulee and Javelin have faster reverse speeds
Off-roading?M12 Molten and Trailblazer is superior
Value?Icebreaker and Beam have better value and demand
Overall Torpedo isn’t the best at anything anymore.Not even at being a Flex Car
What’s ur current flex car? Beam? Icebreaker? They are manipulated in any value list their demand is lower then torpedo
