This is an awesome sling bag! One could add webbing (MOLLE) on the small pocket as well. The only change I would recommend is the webbing is 1" like you have it, spaced 1" apart horizontally and the vertical stitching is 1 ½" spacing. This allows other MOLLE or PALS accessories to attach properly. I know thats nitpicking, just thought if anyone was thinking of utilizing the web. 👍 Thanks a ton for the video and the links!!! I tell my friends that sewing is just another important skill, and that sewing machines are just another tool, like my wrenches or welder. Wish I would have got back into sewing at a much younger age. My mom taught me a bunch of stuff when I was real little, but my older brothers and my friends busted my balls about it being a girls thing so I quit. Now they're all about questions, not that I know what I'm doing yet lol.
Any suggestions for how to make this a waterproof insulated bag? My guess would be to use a waterproof material as the liner and seam sealant but not sure about whether it would be best to sandwich insulation between materials and at what points I should stop an apply seam sealer.

Buy some thermal material, u know the one u use to cover your car windows
