What I don't understand is how did they think the US Congress was going to accept their votes? I'm sure the Michigan legislature had already certified the election results. By Jan 6th Congress had to already know the names of the electors from every state that were supposed to be there. Did they really think no one would notice? This doesn't make sense.
If Pence would have excepted the fake electoral votes, he could have said neither are valid and send it back to the state legislatures where Republicans have a majority and they could have stolen it for Trump.
They must have thought this was some kind of game.

There is a term within psychology, particularly within the abusive and controlling personality disorders. It's called Projection. More specifically, narcissistic projection. The Two Wayne County Republican Board Canvassers originally refused to certify because Monica Palmer mentioned over 60% of the precincts in Detroit were imbalanced. Both were immediately threatened in a live zoom meeting which aired on local news. One of the individuals that threatened them was in Ann Arbor! Dana Nessel attorney general was originally hesitant to provide police protection. Only reason Monica Palmer was going to vote yes because head canvasser and SOS Jocelyn Benson promised a forensic audit which never occurred then at the last minute it became too late for Monica Palmer to retract her vote for yes because SOS Jocelyn Benson threatened to take legal action along with help from the governor and attorney general Nessel if needed at the time? Biden received thousands of votes in the middle of the night into the early morning and John James running for senator had a bigger lead over Gary Peters then mysteriously the next morning they had the votes? Michigan legislature had not voted to change their laws yet so major voter fraud was committed you just don't come back from over 100K votes
